Mission: Got Pus? Milk Does—Spread the Word

We can imagine your face of disgust when you read this page’s title—time to pass that nausea to others by telling them milk contains pus. YES, PUS. 🤢

There are literally legal levels of somatic pus cells in every gallon. If you’re somehow not grossed out yet, I present to you the definition of “pus” according to Webster’s Dictionary:

a thick, opaque, usually yellowish-white, fluid matter that is formed as part of an inflammatory response typically associated with an infection and is composed of exudate chiefly containing dead white blood cells (such as neutrophils), tissue debris, and pathogenic microorganisms (such as bacteria)

Just EW! The thing is, this goes hand in hand with how nasty the dairy industry is to cows. It tears cows away from their babies, sexually assaults them for their milk, and sends them to be killed when their milk production slows. 😢🐮 How disgusting is that? Anyone who reaches for a glass of milk should be reminded that it’s tainted with this cruelty—and pus.
