Some experimenters have torn baby monkeys away from their moms and sewn their eyelids shut. Others have injected chemicals into kittens’ brains and killed them. Mice have been locked in a chamber with an electrified floor. Dogs have been forced to run on a treadmill until they have a heart attack and collapse. Experiments like these aren’t only cruel but also useless.

Just look at this stat: 95% of all drugs that test safe and effective on animals fail on humans. 🤦 When you think about it, ofc mice, dogs, and monkeys will react differently to drugs than humans…you really don’t have to think too hard.
