Vegan Snackin’ Tips for Road Trips

Today, it’s easier than ever to eat vegan on road trips. In what feels like the middle of nowhere, it’s now possible to find protein-packed roasted chickpeas and vegan chips at gas stations and 7-Eleven, Beyond Burgers at Carl’s Jr., burritos made with Beyond Meat at Del Taco, and animal-free food at Taco Bell and Starbucks. You’ll never be forced to go hungry or eat soggy sandwiches on the road again.

Heading out on an East Coast road trip? If you’re driving through New York or Vermont, be sure to stop at Stewart’s Shops for a pint of the new vegan flavor, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup.

You can almost always find dried fruit and nuts in gas stations, but these chocolate-covered almonds by Blue Diamond are “accidentally vegan” and perfect for indulging a sweet tooth while on the road.
