Lolita was trapped and stolen from her family off the coast of Washington
as a baby. She has been held captive and forced to perform at the
Miami Seaquarium for the past 42 years.
Orcas are intelligent social animals who swim up to 100 miles a day in the wild, but Lolita is alone and lives in a tank so small that it doesn’t even meet minimum federal standards.
