Save Animals in 60 Seconds

Think about it: How did you react when you first saw how animals on factory farms or in slaughterhouses were treated? What thoughts ran through your mind as you saw pigs who were struggling in crates so small that they couldn’t turn around or cows who were trying to escape the slaughterhouse floor? You were horrified—and most likely, you decided to stop eating meat.

You can’t rely on big companies like McDonald’s and Hormel to tell consumers the truth about how they treat animals, so it’s up to you to give everyone a dose of reality.

I DO eat animals and I feel a little guilty about that. I grew up eating animals and that was long before so much was known about what animals must endure before they end up being slaughtered and processed to become FOOD.

I feel guilty too. I have tried to incorporate more vegan options into my life. I recently decided to stop drinking dairy milk. I do not eat pork anymore. After seeing a truck full of little pink piggies going down the interstate next to me, that was enough. I started crying because they were talking to me. I would like to go completely veg at some point.
