As shocking as this might sound coming from me, sometimes sitting around all weekend in your underwear watching Netflix can get a bit tired. No? Just me? OK, moving on …
Luckily, we have composed three things that will help you spice up that old routine AND spread the word for animals! Check them out below!
“I started making jewelry after picking up some basic skills from the jewelry class at my school and wanted to continue making things outside of the classroom. I wore the ‘I Am Not A Nugget’ pendant around school and the mall and got so many compliments! It’s really awesome that my hobby has turned into something bigger and that I can spread the animal rights message in cute fun ways by just picking out what design I want and making it wearable!”
So rad, Ruth! Do you have any awesome peta2 crafts that you’d like to share? Send them to firstname.lastname@example.org, and they might even make a future blog post!
Not only does 16-year-old Alyssa save more than 100 animals a year by not eating them, she even made THE LOCAL NEWS for it! That’s right! Alyssa used her skills in the kitchen to spread the word to the world about how yummy and easy vegan eating is.
“I’ve been completely vegan for a couple months and loving it. It’s the best thing ever. I was super inspired and decided to enter a vegan recipe in my local newspaper’s cooking column, and I won!
Everyone has been asking me about it and about veganism in general, and you guys have armed me with so much information that I feel very comfortable talking about it and informing others. Thanks so much for having so many great websites and resources for newbies like me!”
A weekend full of cute jewelry, good food, and spreading the word for animals? Yes, please! Netflix is starting to seem like a distant memory.
