I also love Christmas music, anything from Glee, and the soundtrack to pretty much every Disney movie ever made.

About me: I've only recently developed a love for cooking, mainly things with chocolate as the main ingredient. I'm a 110 percent homebody who prefers staying home and watching a movie to going out and being social. I'm a super picky eater. My sisters are my best friends. I will always, always be a cat person rather than a dog person. I'm terrified of the dark and the ocean.

I like: Any and everything having to do with Harry Potter, the French language, the color green, Glee, cats, soundtracks, musicals, Arrested Development, Disney movies (the classics), The Office, Christmas, fall, turtles, snow, reality television, documentaries, John Cusack, showing people how tasty vegan food is, hoodies, TOMS shoes, Daria, tattoos, Auburn football, natural light as opposed to light bulbs, Target, being cold, Mad Libs, inside jokes, foreign films, and sleeping in on the weekends.

I dislike: Close-minded people, bathing suit season, talking about myself, clutter, action movies, the beach, Celtic music, feeling rushed, traveling by airplane, warm weather, gold jewelry, weddings, feeling sleepy at inopportune times, eyeballs (ew), when people use hashtags on Facebook, bright orange, slow drivers, bug bites, Hallmark cards, glitter, and the word "stoked."

Why I went veg: I actually stumbled across PETA's website by accident one night while scouring the Internet for credit cards with pictures of animals on them. (Turns out, PETA has one.) After some clicking around, I found and watched "Meet Your Meat" and instantly went vegetarian. Four months later, I decided to watchEarthlings and was both heartbroken and devastated by what I saw. The next day, I went vegan. Easy peasy.

Companion animals: I have three of the world's most precious kitties. Seriously. Newman is my oldest, and he's a fluffy ball of adorable grumpiness. Gemma is my middle child and the only one willing to snuggle with me. Nora is my youngest, and she enjoys chewing through (expensive) wires, terrorizing her older siblings, and attacking my feet whenever possible.

Fave food: Chocolate, apples dipped in peanut butter, avocados, chocolate, Mexican food, homemade pizza, chocolate, and baked potatoes. And chocolate.

Little known facts: I am obsessed with knowing how long things take, so I use my stopwatch to time everything: how long my food has been cooking, how long plane/car rides take when I travel, how long since I last did something, etc. Call it OCD if you will, but it's just something I do. All of my clocks are set to military time. I have a favorite math problem (5 + 6 = 11). I also want to be fluent in French someday.
