Cute Baby Elephants: Born to Be Wild!

Elephants are some of the most spectacular animals on Earth, and baby elephants are especially adorable. They should spend their early years playing, learning, and bonding with their families, but circuses such as Ringling Bros. rip babies away from their mothers and force them to perform cruel and unnatural tricks.

Here are 10 of our favorite pictures of baby elephants looking happy and adorable—in the wild!

These animals are cheerful and carefree, a complete contrast to enslaved baby elephants who endure lives of constant pain and exhaustion in the circus. Baby elephants used by Ringling Bros. and other circuses have their childhoods stolen from them.

Please avoid all circuses that use elephants and other animals and urge your family and friends to do the same. Click here for a list of animal-free circuses.

Elephants are such cute and sweet little giants :) how could anyone just abuse of them? Never going to those circuses. I went to one and thankfully it didn’t have elephants.

Maryland continues to allow Ringling bros to bring their circuses here no matter how many people protest them. Let them know we don’t want them here as long as they continue to abuse animals and use them purely for profit.

One day I want to see elephants in the wild. You know where they belong.
