VICTORY: Forever 21 Bans Angora!
In response to the release of undercover video footage, shot by PETA Asia, that documents horrific routine cruelty to angora rabbits, Forever 21 has announced that it will no longer sell products made with angora wool and has banned it entirely!
Forever 21 is following in the compassionate footsteps of PVH Corp.—the parent company of Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and other brands—which also announced a few weeks ago that it would be banning angora and pulling all products made from it from its shelves immediately.
Undercover video footage shot inside a Chinese angora farm revealed that workers violently rip the fur from the rabbits’ sensitive skin as they scream at the top of their lungs in pain.
Rabbits endure this torture every three months.
Unfortunately, some companies like Gap are still refusing to ban products made from angora, despite knowing full well what happens to the rabbits who are tortured repeatedly and killed for it.
