Don’t eat meat.Don’t support company’s that test on any animals.Don’t dissect on any kind of animals. If you don’t want to be eaten, get tested on and die,or have you’re body cut open so people can get a little excitement from then don’t do it to animals..They have hearts and feelings too.

I love animals and I have 2 dogs and a cat and when ever I go shopping i always have them on my mind. I always read the labels on cloths to make sure they are from man made materials and no animals were harmed in the making.I also dont use animal tested products. Most important of all I’m proude to say that I’m a vegeterian and I’m always talking about it and how I have a clean conscious about not harming animals.

My whole family and I recycle and make sure that we keep the world clean. I sometimes pick up trash on the side of the road. I’ve been vegetarian for about two years now, and just recently turned vegan about two months ago. I realized how much eating meat can put a dent in the world and us vegans can save tons of animals. I think we should all be proud of where and what we are today, but saving lives can, in my opinion, save more than just lives.

To keep my life cruelty free I became a vegetarian when I was 12, after watching peta videos; now I check labels to make sure the product isn’t from a company that tests on animals; I don’t wear fur (only faux fur); I stopped wearing sneakers and other apparel that are made with leather; I made my family stop eating from McDonads and KFC; I told my mom not to shop from Lowes; the eggs that we eat are from cage-free chickens; I don’t go to circuses that use animals and I convinced my family not to go either; We don’t keep my dog on a chain; I once saved a turtle that was on the middle of the road; I help keep my school’s pond clean, so the fish won’t die…

I do not support companies who are and use animal tested and animal products. I also aware my friends about the cruelty are the world, dealing with animals. They have now signed up for PETA. I also recycle, which is a big thing in where I live. I try to help out my community in the best way that I can. Cruelty-Free is my life. I tell those about their make-up and clothes, and tell them that they need to get new products, for the animals had to go though alot of beatings and neglect just so you can happy shiny lips, and a warm body!

I’ve been a vegetarian since 2009, and i’m only 11. c: I’ve gotten many of my friends to go vegetarian, and we even protested outside of school, saying we want healthier, vegetarian choices. (We failed, because i got in trouble for leading us all into the cafeteria, where we were all yelling and chanting.) I only use cruelty-free and animal-free products, and me and my friends have done probably every Peta mission that we could. My sister is actually a vegan, who taught me about Peta and vegetarianism. I hope on becoming vegan soon.

I’ve been a big animal love ever since I could remember, treat animals with Lot’s of respect. I have been a vegetarian for 3years now, whenever I buy a product I check to see if it’s been not tested on animals. I tell my friends not to buy the a type of brand that’s cruel to animals for there clothing/foot wear. I’ve handed flyers out at my school and had some kids sign the Mcdonald’s petition and to stop testing on animals to get it out there for people to know.

    My tips to live cruelty-free:

1.) Don’t adopt a pet if you’re not going to love them forever. Period.
2.) Fast food is just the flesh of animals starved to the brink of death and then filled with steroids. Nasty stuff. Just saying.
3.)If you wouldn’t skin your mother alive and proceed wear her skin as an accessory, don’t do it to some poor animal that’s far more defenseless as her.
4.) If you’re not ready to give up meat completely, meet me somewhere in the middle: go vegetarian (or even better, vegan!) every Friday. I go vegan every Friday, guys. It’s not that hard.

I talk to my adopted cat and turtle and tell them that I’m sorry they are born into such a cruel world and that I promise I will do everything in my power to make sure no more animals fall into the unfortunate fates that humans have created for them through hubris. I buy only organic clothes or clothes made from recycled materials and that do not involve animals in the making. Also, I have always discouraged my friends who wish to get pets from buying from pet stores. I tell them about the puppy mills and the horrible conditions and brutality they experience there and tell them to instead to adopt pets instead and save from past traumas by providing them a loving home. I have been successful in convincing 3 of them to adopt rather than purchase, and one of them is looking into adopting another puppy from SPCALA!

I make sure to ALWAYS read material tags on clothing and shoes before buying anything! And when it comes to hair products and cosmetics, I look for the little bunny logo on the back. 🙂 Better yet, look for cruelty-free brands online before even leaving the house, and find out where those products can be found. I make sure all of my clothing, makeup, and toiletries are vegan and not tested on animals, even if I have to order it online. I gave away all of my non-vegan possessions (let’s just say that some kid now has a tricked-out biker jacket) and I try to make sure that my family buys cruelty-free things for themselves, too! Being cruelty-free is super easy! Checking the labels is a given, but to really ensure that you are on the right track to being a cruelty-free buyer is by having an amazing supportive group. My boyfriend’s mom, not a vegetarian herself, bought me cruelty-free bath set! I have a very supportive vegan/vegetarian group of friends at school who make sure the products we buy are really cruelty-free. <3

Do the best you can! That means being selective about product choices and giving feedback to companies so they know it’s important to consumers that their stuff not be tested on animals or contain toxic ingredients harmful to living things. I teach my students to do their homework and read labels like storybooks. I do not expect everyone to become vegans, but little changes create a ripple effect and become life changing. Simply by asking a few questions, “What are the ingredients?” “Where do they come from?” “What animals or people suffered to bring it to the market?” bring about awareness about what it is we are really paying for and supporting with our buying power. When this realization takes place, we become empowered by our own actions and the actions of others. So bravo to companies like Keep for making well made, stylish shoes that are not only sustainable and cruelty-free but inspires others to find creative ways to bring about shifts in the market place where a humane and passionate approach can be successful and sustainability can be fun and hip!

I truly believe that all living people are equal in this world and the one’s that can’t speak up need our voices as well as our love! I took the streps to find a pair of combat boots that are not made out of some ones hide! Now I will be rocked a tough pair of Boots that didn’t cause any one thier lifes! Now i need to find me a jacket that is just as cool, HA HA!

I always do research before I purchase something. Whether it be clothes, shoes, food, etc. I always make sure I know what I am buying is cruelty-free.
I always try to give people the facts about what they are eating or wearing.
I also help out at animal shelters and try to help the animals get adopted by families that will actually treat them how they deserve to be treated.

Everyday I check packages of anything I use to be not tested on animals, to be suitable for vegetarians and vegans, even if it is flavoured with any meat, I would not touch it (aka crisp).
Any projects I do in school and outside of school are mostly based on animal cruelty and telling people about it. I also stay far away from meat as it is not right to eat animals.
And everyday I come home I look at my cat and I hug him and thank God he is safe and sound and pray for all the another little souls out there that are being beaten and tested on..breaks my heart 🙁

I am a new convert to this vegan lifestyle after watching the Meet your Meat video, and couldn’t help but cry for these helpless animals. I realized that these tears needed to be turned into action, since then I signed up for the Peta2 street team, actively spread the word anyway I can, promoted veganism to friends and family(btw my family is slowly but surely following my lead and fighting for animal rights and easing their way into vegetarian diet) I checked for any products in my possession that were not certified free of animal testing, and if I did not see that seal I threw it out. Currently I’m going through my closet and throwing out anything with leather or fur or anything that belonged to an animal and was never meant to be mine to begin with. Even though I’m not a long time vegan these shoes would be great for me since I had get rid of mine because they had leather:(

My favourite way to keep my life cruelty free is to always read labels. I am constantly reading food labels, cosmetic labels, shampoo labels to make sure it is cruelty free. I also like to refer to crueltyfreeface because it lists all the vegan and not tested on animal makeup. Sometimes you never know when something could be cruelty free. I was at H&M the other day trying on a hat, I wondered what the soft material it was made of was, to my surprise I read the label and it said angora (which is another name for rabbit fur) I immediately put down the hat and went to find something cruelty free. Thats why it is always good to read labels.

5 Friendly Tips to keep Your life cruelty Free – via Veg-Head KourtnieRita.
Tip 1) It can be as simple as taking 5 seconds to look at the label!
Most shampoo’s and other hygenic products now-a-days are actually posting on the labels of there products that they were NOT tested on animals. Although some back ground history / research may want to be conducted to see if this is true or not, Its one of the most simplest ways to do a quick check if your in a rush.
Tip 2) Savings Jar. Some of these products may cost a little bit more then those that are NOT cruelty free. Most cruelty free products may cost a few more dollars then the regular generic brand. So save up a little more then usual, put a few dollars in a jar every week (Don’t go out one night, or think to your self if you really really need a new pair of shoes?) And spend that to save an animals life. Buying cruelty free may cost more, but in the end it is always worth it.
Tip 3) Become Vegetarian! Or heck, Do even more and Go Vegan! Becoming a vegetarian / vegan can help save the lies of hundreds of thousands of animals every year. The processing plants, and the way they are treated before cruel slaughter houses send them off to be packaged and sold at supermarkets everywhere. (Proud Veg-Head myself for 3 years)
Tip 4) Do a little research. Everyone has there favorite brands, or there favorite styles, but do some research before the next time you go out, who knows, with that jacket, or those boots your buying for the coming cold winter months poor rabbits, minks, foxes and other animals could be harmed in the making of those. And with every purchase your only helping move along these process plants that kill millions of small animals for there fur every year.
Tip 5) Spread the word! I keep my life straight on the path of keeping cruelty free by helping remind myself everyday why i am a vegetarian, and why i want to help animals, why i am a part of PETA and the Humane Society. I teach others things they may not know about that hamburger that they are eating, or those boots that they are wearing.

I am a new vegan. I love it! The transition wasn’t hard because I already had changed certain parts of my diet and lifestyle. Even tough being new vegan is a bit challenging it can be done.

The most important thing when buying food is reading the label. It’s easy. If it has animal by products you will know it. Also, I constantly use PETA’s “Accidentally Vegan” list when buying processed foods. However, it is recommended that one eats as much raw foods as possible!!!

When buying products I also check PETA’s list of “Don’t Test” it is very helpful. It also tells you if the product you’re buying is VEGAN! Which is a plus!

If you’re a new vegan it would help, as an exercise, to check your products. Bodywash, soaps, creams, etc. And if they’re made from cruel companies maybe you should think about throwing those away. Why would you want to benefit from a living thing sufering? You shouldn’t!

Because it is important to care for the earth as well, if you’re throwing away cruelty products you should clean the one’s that can be recycled!

Experiment with new vegan food all the time! It’s an aventure and a tasty one!

    That’s about it!

I WILL stay vegan my intire life and help keep animals at my local animal shelter happy. I am currently writing a letter of thanks to all of the products that do not use anilmals to test on. It really makes me angry to see what they do to poor little animals that can’t tell us how they feel.

    Thanks, Andi

*ALL ANIMALS FEEL PAIN!!!! Never, ever, EVER buy any form of meat or fish, or anything! That would be like somebody skinning and boiling you alive. (I could go into so much detail about how badly animals are treated in factory farms, slaughter houses, fishing trips, and places that do skinning, etc, but I won’t.)
*Treat animals how YOU would want to be treated; don’t hurt them emotionally, physically, OR mentally.
*If you see somebody abusing an animal, do something about it. don’t just walk away; call the cops, do SOMETHING.
*Don’t wear clothing with fur, wool, leather, or exotic skins. It is SO mean and nobody can even imagine the pain the animals go through while being skinned.
*Don’t buy eggs, milk, or anything dairy; the animals are treated in terrible ways and should not be supported.
*Free yourself from beauty products that do testing on animals. In 2002 alone, about 14 MILLION animals were killed because of testing.
*Stay away from horse-drawn carriages, circuses, zoos and pseudo-sanctuaries, fairs, and cruel sports (such as greyhound racing and dog and cock fights).
*And please, PLEASE never keep an exotic animal as a pet; they belong in the wilderness.

the way that I stay cruelty-free is by always reading the ingredients of all your food to make sure they are not animals derived, of course not wearing food, and always spreading the word because you don’t just educate your friends and strangers, you’re reassuring yourself that this is the lifestyle that everyone should live and it makes you that much of a stronger person to keep the cruelty-free lifestyle up. It’s not hard by any means, it just takes some time and getting used to and I think that’s what everyone should know.
Stay in tune with Peta and the transition/lifestyle is always going to be easier.

How to decrease cruelty and suffering:
    1. Be mindful. You share the world with not only other people, but other animals as well. Your litter could end up in some animal’s belly and could possibly hurt them.
    2. Don’t litter. ^
    3. Think before you kill. Is it really worth swatting that fly? Is it okay to step on a spider? Sure, they’re annoying but you must realize it’s part of life and they are a part of the world as much as you are. Do you have a right to end a life?
    4. Honestly, you don’t have to be vegetarian but it helps. There are omnivores in nature. There are vegetarians. There are carnivores. You can choose to be any. Just because you are an animal rights activist doesn’t mean you have to be a vegetarian. Eat organic things.

It’s easy being vegan and cruelty free to animals and people alike. You just have to be concious of your purchases and food. There are numerous websites like PETA who have the advice you need readily available. As well as books, plus taking a minute out of your time to look at labels is so simple and rewarding. Not only are you getting higher quality products that way, but you also have the piece of mind knowing no one got hurt in the making of the products. Being informed is the only way to be a responsible consumer. It’s just as bad supporting slaughter houses as sweat shop labor and it only takes a little research to not support evil corperations.

Cruelty-free is one of my top priorities every day. I’ve been a vegetarian for nearly four years now, so my every day diet is the most important. I also refuse to use cosmetics tested on animals, I only use cruelty-free makeup, my favorite is Hard Candy. I also will not wear leather, fur, or wool. I am 100% against animal dissection and keeping animals in captivity for entertainment purposes, as well as the import of exotic animals for pets. For me, cruelty-free is a way of life that I’m never going to give up. I always get my updates from PETA and I believe that cruelty-free is the only way of life there should be!

I always think about what I’m buying before I buy it. I always buy things that are not tested on animals. People argue with me about fur, leather, or eating meat, saying that these things have been done for years, it’s okay and only natural. Just because murder has been happening for years doesn’t make it okay. All of those things are cruel and unnecessary. I tell everyone why I am a vegetarian, and I have successfully converted a few of my friends to vegetarianism. I pass out PETA stickers to people at school. c: I plan to continue living my cruelty-free life.

I always check before buying a product that the company does NOT test on animals, have animal byproducts, or in any way has harmed an animal. I also donate money to my local no kill animal shelter.

I also endeavour in my job to be kind to all my patients and caring for them with the utmost care and love while they are in my care in the hospital.

I try to be as ecofriendly by recycling, reusing, and spreading the word.

I spread the word in all the aspects by talking with others, writing about them in papers, and give speechs in front of groups.

My favorite tips to keep my life cruelty-free is research! Before I buy makeup and things like that I check to see which do and do not test on animals, and do research in that area. So when i see Avon or L’Oreal I know not to buy it because of my previous research. Also, buying things from socially minded buisnesses that with each purchase help people and eating healthy vegetarian food is ways that I keep my life cruelty-free

To stay cruelty free, I use Essential Oil Products for myself, Sweet Pea products for my nephew, and Almo Nature for my two dogs. I think that it wouldn’t be right for me to use products in which animal lives are sacrificed because what so many people fail to realize is that they come from families and they were ripped away from their loved ones and if those were our children we wouldn’t want them being used as testing material and then thrown away.

I have really made it so my entire lifestyle is cruelty free!

from the minute I wake up and put on my make up, I use cruelty free products from Almay. Then I continue on to get dressed where I will wear everything vegan friendly! (and fashionable beyond what most people would imagine)

I will always have a million options for what I will be eating the rest of the day. I buy my food from whole foods where they have INCREDIBLE selections! I buy my vegan icecream, vegan cheese, soy protein, tofu, soymilk, granola, any anything else. I always keep my fridge stocked in case I have some friends over. I love making vegan meals for my friends and really surprising them with how much variety vegans really can enjoy with food.

I will also go onto Peta 2 and constantly check on updates for what else I can do next for the street team. I just recently made a speech to my school (a fashion school) about why fur should be eliminated from the fashion industry. It was empowering and I provided lots of handouts, showed a video and stated all the horrifying facts. I am constantly trying to bring awareness to people about animal cruelty.

at work, we sell a line of vegan leather! I am always recommending the pieces to people who normally would buy real leather. I tell them the switch is great because our apparel looks great and fits great. and not just that but its much cheaper than anything made of leather would be. By promoting “vegan leather” i often am asked about the vegan lifestyle. so of course I am glad to share!

Through learning about both the fur industry and the pet industry, I decided that I want to work towards building and opening a sanctuary for rabbits. I would want to rescue them from china and give them the love they deserve. I am taking business classes so that this dream can become a reality when I graduate from college.

I also will always tell people about some of the great documentaries about animals cruelty such as The Cove (AMAZING BY THE WAY, MUST SEE!), Earthlings, even Food Inc, a movie that reveals the truth about the food industry. Even if I dont recommend a documentary, I always tell people about Year of the Dog, a great movie with Molly Shannon.

Last but not least, I always give my bunny, Chewy lots of love. Every time I get upset thinking about all the animals suffering in the world, I pet him and hug him, realizing that even if I cant save every animal right now, I can still make a difference by showing Chewy how much I love him and that I will never let anyone hurt him. I only keep him in the cage when he is home alone, but other than that I let him walk free to explore my house and constantly stay stimulated. By giving my rabbit the ove I want to give to every animal, I always feel better about my dreams and I never lose hope. When I can sense how much Chewy loves me back, I know that helping animals is a cause I will never back down from.

To stay cruelty free, I have been taking care of dogs my whole life. A few years back me and my brother took a dog in that we found on the streets but that dog has since passed on. Now I spend time with my two dogs KNC and Capone everyday. I take care of them simply by using the “Golden Rule” I treat them as I would want to be treated. KNC is 10 yrs old (60) in human years and Capone is 5 (36) in human years. It was tough getting the two to get along at first because I got Capone long after but once I gave them both the love and affection they deserve, they have been like brothers ever since.

To keep my life cruelty free, first off, I am on the PETA and PETA2 site daily, looking for new issues to do my part in, and of course send them off to my friends and family to get them involved. My dad actually started sending me articles of animal cruelty issues! Also, I try my best to buy products that are not tested on animals, and eat mostly organic veggies/rice etc. Every day I wake up and look at my adorable chinchilla, and he reminds me about how many cute animals just like him are suffering out there because they are farmed for their fur.

I always keep in mind how the animal is feeling, and then put myself in their shoes. Always put yourself in other creature’s shoes, it doesn’t matter if they’re not human beings; they still have emotions like every living thing. If you were a cat, how would you want to spend your day? Sleep? Eat? Be appreciated? Then let them sleep and feed them and show love. Sleep! Eat! Love!

Ive reported cruelty cases 7 times , and even reported my bf family. That was awesome because they got to see how serious i am about the whole thing. No one is an exception. My bf took me to watch “FORK OVER KNIFES” and i love it,i wish the entire population watched this movie! the best part was that even my meat lover bf became completely vegan right after the movie! We are setting a website of all organic and natural products and best foods for your health and we hope to educate many more. One thing that’s really easy is to go to my favorite vegetarian restaurant, Longbranch, in Carbondale, Illinois. I know, without a doubt, that I can go out to eat there and feel GOOD about my food and all the food around me – that’s a rare feeling! As an added bonus, if my nonvegetarian friends go with me – that’s one meal free of meat for them, too!

I don’t usually buy a lot of bath and beauty products but I am adament about checking out the brand and being sure it’s cruelty-free. (PETA’s shopping guide is permanently in my wallet!) There’s no reason not to take the take to check, being a vegetarian it is important to me that my money is used in the right places and never goes toward something that harmed animals!

Finally, the thing that I am most proud of is adopting our dog, Raleigh, from the local animal shelter. He had a rough start in life but it has been wonderful having him in our home! I will never buy a dog from a petstore or breeder, and now I have a real-life testament to how awesome adopting can be!

Living cruelty free is not a hard choice, but still a choice. Some people think that it’s a pain to find products and styles, which bring me to this… With the use of the internet these days, living cruelty free has become as easy a few clicks of the mouse. There are many great websites devoted to providing information on local and web based clothing, housewares companies. That being said, if you were to do a little internet research, you’ll find a style that fits you and leaves you guilt free. That way when you are blogging on your favorite social network site, instead of talking about how cute the cashier at the pretzel stand was, you can be showing off pics of your new Benten kicks.

cruelty free tiiiips?!?!?!?! yay!: 1)don’t get manipulated by pop culture saying that “fur is in”, “leather is hot” etc. caaaause its all bullshit shallowness, and at the end of the day, fashion is a materialistic item- unlike a kind soul that can feel pain. 2)Even though this world is becoming more cruel and heartless every second- doesn’t mean you have 2 too, please keep your compassion. 3)don’t become a mini hitler. 4)love is the weapon for this wounded world

To keep my life cruelty free i think of all the harm and pain i suffer in my life and imagine why anything else should have to go through that. I also just remember why my life is so great and thats because of my pets and without them i would be so devasted.

Easiest way to keep my life cruelty free is by reminding myself every day why I am a vegan 🙂

Well, it definitely helps now that I’m living back in NYC again. There are so many vegan restaurants and cruelty-free clothes. Other than relying on the Big Apple, I started my own vegan bakery and catering business from home and do most of my shopping online via links that I find on the PETA and PETA2 websites. Thanks, guys! <3 And when non-vegans ask me how I live like this (as if it requires some sort of super will power), I simply explain to them that it just comes naturally. I have absolutely no "urge" to consume or use products that come from our walking, crawling, swimming, or flying friends. I believe that EVERYONE is born with veganism in their hearts. You just have to make the (easy) decision to nurture it.

My favorite tips to my life cruelty-free is to buy items that are organic. For example, I have a friend that has a pair of shoes that are made out of hemp. If you want beauty products, there are some great websites that tell you all of the brands that don’t test on animals. And my favorite tip, go vegetarian or vegan! There are lots of ways to stay cruelty-free.

I stay cruelty free by not eating meat and trying to convince my friends to choose one day of the week to not eat meat either. I also stay away from real fur. That crap is WACK!

I always buy cruelty free. I don’t buy a single thing without asking myself, “is this vegan?”

I take time out of each day to research my cruelty-free options before I make a purchase. Growing up, I used to just buy whatever I wanted without considering how it affected the environment or living creatures. Since being educated on all of the day-to-day items that are created at animals expenses, I can no longer sit back and contribute to a sociaty based on cruielty. Now I take pride in researching clothing, food, accesories before I buy them to make sure that they align with living a cruelty-free life. Much of my research is conducted on the peta websites because I know that I will be purchasing something that is meaningful and good for the earth and its creatures. It takes a little bit of time, but I always feel good about my purchases afterwards and I spread the word so that others will support the same companies.

You just have to submit to being this way for life. Eat cruelty free foods, become vegan, and save what you can from the pound, or from a damaging home. Cruelty free shouldnt just reach towards animals, but people too. Adopting my sisters from a cruel home has been the most uplifting thing in my life, so translating that to animals will only make this world be a better place. Spread the word!

One way I stay cruelty-free is to always look at labels to see if they are vegan and animal free, or looking on Peta2’s website to see which companies are listed on the animal friendly list

The best cruelty-free tip is to download the Be Nice To Bunnies App on your iPhone or iTouch! It’s not a free app but it is well worth it. I know I don’t know every brand off the top of my head and who is cruelty-free, this app will tell you what brands are cruelty-free AND the ones who aren’t. This way you can always buy cruelty-free!

I am very careful about what products I buy but the most important change I made was to adopt a vegetarian diet. The next step is to go vegan which I am working on!

I’ve become a label reader now for products.I like dyeing my hair so I use manic panic a vegan company.Cosmetics I use are researched first.I also have let job opportunities go because they were non vegan(fast-food)but I’d rather work in a book store anyway. *My tip for living a vegan lifestyle is calling(or emailing) restaurants ahead of time and ask if they have substitutions.

I KEEP my life cruelty free by checking labels, going with trusted companies, and knowing where to set my limitations. If I don’t know what’s in something I simply don’t eat it or use it. I feel like an all over better person when I’m using cruelty free items.

My favorite ways to keep my life cruelty free:
    A vegetarian diet
    Fur free clothing
campaigning against animal cruelty every chance I get
    refusing dissection in biology class
All natural make-up and cosmetics that specifically say “not tested on animals” on the labels

Ps: I really love those shoes :3
