Free Stuff Friday: Unhappy Meals!

Profile photo of Rachelle-O

Posted August 20, 2009 by Rachelle Owen

We all know the torture McDonald’s chickens have to face. Every day, chickens at McDonald’s main supply houses have their throats slit and many are thrown into tanks of scalding water while they’re still conscious just so people can get their chicken sandwiches and chicken nuggets. That doesn’t sound like a happy meal to me.

McDonald’s has yet to adopt a more humane method of slaughter, so we want you to join us in giving McDonald’s a big “F*CK YOU!” with our brand new Unhappy Meals. To see what comes in each Unhappy Meal, watch the video below, featuring our very own Pulin.

For your chance to get your hands on one of our Unhappy Meals, comment below with why YOU deserve to win. Entries must be received by August 28. The five people with the most original comments will be chosen as our winners and notified by August 31.

Just so you know … by commenting here, you’re acknowledging that you’ve read and agreed to our privacy policy.

Also by commenting, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.

GOOD LUCK!

I think I should win the unhappy meal because I literally made every single person I know that loved Mcdonalds too disgusted to stop eating there. Every time my friends & family were mentioning going there I’d remind them of the horrible things that they do to the animals, to those innocent chickens & I’m still turning more people away from their disgusting greasy food everyday. I made it a point to pass out all of the Mccruelty stickers in all of my classes, especially my biology classes, and also had all of the people in my campus animal rights club to do the same to help prevent the horrible things that are being done to these innocent animals by Mccruelty. I even wrote my last argument paper in my english composition class about Why people shouldn’t eat Mcdonald’s food & I put so much time and effort into that paper. I always make it a point to make all of argument papers about animal rights because in our class we do peer review & when my fellow classmates read my papers they’re always so disgusted and sympathetic toward those horrible things that happens to the animals & just by having them read my papers, several of them had joined my animal rights club and stopped eating meat because of the horrifying truth that I wrote in my paper about what is being done to the beautiful, innocent animals.

That is so cool! I think you should give that to me because I am the ONLY vegetarian in my family and if I showed this to them, they might re-think about what they’re eating. Plus, I could always go to a McDonalds and show them this. Haha

i totally hate mcdonnalds and i really hate the clown im scared of him .. i think that the animals that they killed for food should be free and not be killed just so people can have something to eat come on people order a salad or something else but not meat do you know what are you eating hello! open your eyes and go vegan .. if i win i will show it to every one and even take it to mcshit a show people the thing that they are eating and why is it wrong to eat the stuff they eat if people knew about what happen to the animal before they get into their plate then everyone would go veggie.. but some people really dont care about animal they say their just animals but they should think before they say that animal need thhey brights now!!!!!!!!its sad how mcshit kill the chicken and many people dont know about it and i think they should know what they do to them so then they will think again if would like to eat what they were going to eat go veggie people!!!!..well i have been a vegan for about a year all ready and i believe that all animals have the right to live a life with happiness and im pretty much a hippie and ill do anything to help animals i really love them and people should start thing about what they eat and what are they eating because they wouldn’t eat their kids so why would they eat a pigs kid or a cows baby….i have been trying to make my friends go veggie and some have a some havnt but im still helping them go… i should win because i have done many thing to save the animals i really think its wrong to treat animal wrong .. to treat animal the way we dont want to be treated and people should start think about the animals like they care about other people animals are like us and they go through pain and happiness like us so let the animals free and help them from not being killed anymore….. to me the wish that i would alway wish for is that one day peace will come and every one and even the animals would be free and happy…. I promise to give animals all the respect they deserve, and I will help animals in all ways possible…i love helping animal and i promise to do anything to help them because many people dont think about them they just see them as animals and thats all…i also made a club with my friends to stop the animal cruelty i have wrote a letter to the china presedent to stop killing the animals for their fur… also its will be really nice to win and because its my birthday today it would be the best birthday gift…….

Honestly, I would love to win this package so I can show all of my friends and family members and hopefully inspire everyone to prevent animal cruelty by boycotting McDonalds and going vegetarian. I’d wear the shirt proudly and also hope to strike up a conversation about it so I can inform everyone of McDonald’s cruelty. I’m determined to spread the word and I know this would greatly help me do so!

My friend recently showed me this website and ever since I seen this site and read all of this information I felt so differently about everything. I never realized how evil these people are and how mean they are. I don’t know if I deserve this prize or not but I can tell you one thing. NEVER AGIN will I eat at McDonalds or at anyother cruel fast food place for that matter. I am so tired of living my life knowing whats happening to all those animals in slaughterhouses and in the world that are being tortured as they are. I hope that I win this prize, and I know that there are a million other comments but I hope you guys find mine truthful and Unique ! GO CRUELTY FREE, I LOVE ANIMALS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve recently discovered this site and I agree with everything. I had no idea what was happening to these innocent animals. I think McDonalds is DISGUSTING and DISGRACEFUL. They should realize that what they are doing is wrong. I think I deserve this Unhappy Meal because I’m new and I would like to show my friends and family what I have learned using this site. To show them how cruelly these animals are being treated and to make them want to support peta2.

I want to support this cause. I haven’t been following Peta for years like other people have. I’m 24. I have eaten at Mc Donalds all of my life. But I recently started taking a look into what happens to the animals that I have been eating. I have to say words can’t describe the feelings I got. I have 2 little kids who love Mc Donalds. I know that I can’t show them videos of what goes on but I can explain to them the treatment of the animals that are slaughtered. I can tell them that it is wrong and cruel and that I think we need to make changes in the foods that we choose. I know it will be tough. But I also know the rewards would be great. Both to myself and to my kids. Of course, also to the animals.

    mcdonalds suck.
i’ve been a veggie for 9 years, (ten years this september) and i’ve only had mcdonalds twice when i was younger. they’re cruel and disgusting and every single one of them deserve to be scalded alive. animals are alive, just as we are. most act exactly like humans do, so torturing them, even while they are concious, for shitty, fried, disgusting, greasy, food, that you’ll throw up later is just plain old mean.

i feel like i deserve to win because i campaign alot around here, and so far i have converted 7 of my friends to vegetarianism.
my son is almost 3 years old and he’s vegetarian too.
he still gets his protein, no worries.
we both love boca burgers and morningstar chicken nuggets :]
i’ve always been told that i’ll never make it in life, no matter how hard i try.
    i get put down alot,
    but i’ve never given up.
peta and peta2 are the greatest sites out there.
all the support i get from everyone is great!
i feel like i should win this contest because i try.
i do what i can to get more and more people to atleast try being vegetarian.
it isn’t for all people, but i love it.
and most of my close friends do too!
    pick me for the contest,
it would be amazing to win.
i’d love to sit down with more and more people and really explain to them what they’re eating.
    everything that’s in it
and what it does to their body.
    i appreciate it.

because every time i would eat there i would end up munching on a bone =/
so i recieved this i would get mcdonalds back by protesting with the unhappy meal

I am 15 years old and I think I deserve to win this contest because I just went vegetarian not too long ago and don’t really have any PeTA merchandise because my family won’t support my decision and so I don’t have any money to buy any merchandise like this either and winning this contest would just reassure me that even though my family doesn’t support my decision someone else does think that what I’m doing is right.
    Thank you for your time,

I am 10 years old, been vegan for 4 years, and will not stand for McDonalds shit. I know it’s weird for me to be ten and talking like so, but, it’s true. I have gone to many protests, passed the word on to friends, and passed out many flyers. I think I diserve to win this because 1.) I have posted in every contest so far and haven’t won 2.) Done so much for animals and turned 5 friends into vegetarians 3.) Never will give up through anything. Nor do I buy candy thats been tested on animals, fragrence, ect. Plus, McDonalds is gross, doesen’t compliment anything vegetarian besides a few things, and makes people fat as hell. Thank You, Have a nice day

I’m not going to lie, before I turned vegan I was in love with McDonald’s, Burger Kind, Whataburger, you name it. I ate everything that I am completely against right now. Before, I didn’t know the full extent of what animals really had to go through in order to merely satisfy my hunger. Before, I could have cared less what happened to those animals.
Fortunately, now that my eyes have been opened to the cruel hearted deeds that have to be committed to these poor animals, I have not regretted the day that I turned vegan. I realize just how sick people can be and how corrupt our society truly is; all in the name of wealth.
I deserve to win this contest because I want to show others the FULL extent to what the animals have to go through. I want to give them a reason to think twice about eating that Double Whopper, or chowding down on that hot dog. I want to let them know that animals feel, just as humans do. I want to show them that being a meat eater provides no positive aspect at all; society needs to know the truth… the truth that can set all things free.

Hi guys, I think this is a great thing that you’ve made that t-shirt, I juste hope everyone would understand as we do , that mcDonald’s chicken actually comes from a factory, where thoulsands of chicken are actually growing up faster than the average time a normal chicken does. I did 2 years ago a video in my high school, about cruelty acutally, and I was exactly talking about chicken. I found many information about a factory in Berlin, and I saw a video, of chickens, living in that, and I just couldn’t say anything. I’ve seen those little chicken babies , they just look awfull because of what they’re eating, they can’t even see the outside world and see the sun. When they walk, they just walk on themselfs and they get so fat because of the food they eat, and they get sick and sometimes they just can barely walk , or they can’t walk anymore because they are too fat. And when it’s time for them to go and be …you know… well, they are hanging , head down, and the peoples who works in that factory, they take all the feathers away, and then the chickens are all going in a kind of bake, where the temperature is really high, and they’re not dead yet! And then, they cut the head.
I actually did the video to show my classmate what they were eating when they ordered KFC or McDonalds.
I think everyone should be conscious about it, and instead of encouraging those people by buying cheap chicken in grocery stores, they should at least buy chicken direclty from the farm.
Since then, I don’t eat any fast food .
    :) I’m happy like that
May everyone else do the same
    Thanks
    Rachel Tara

I’ve been a vegetarian for 28 years & through example & info, I’ve converted 3 of my daughters & 1 son (one daughter is vegan!) I only have a husband, 3 boys & a girl to go. Getting my hubby to change is hard, but with the unhappy meal, I know I can change his outlook on McCruelty! He gets the boys their Unhappy meal when I’m not around because of the ‘convience’. Ha! What convience? For who? Not the birds! I also lead 2 Girl Scout troops & this would be great to incorporate into IPP’s. Thanks for all you do! When are you coming back to Chicago? We really learned alot~ thanks!

i think the funniest thing i have ever done involved a Ronald MC Donald. it was a few years back and the tattoo shop i was helping out at was doing this October/ Halloween fest thing. well for some strange reason they had a Ronald MC Donald there…. i was thinking man they have these damn clowns everywhere… so i went and asked if i could have my picture taken with him. of course he said yes. so my buddy and i got our picture taken with him; i still have that picture somewhere. anyhow, afterward i started asking him why he was here… that it was a Halloween festival, that i didn’t understand why he was there… he kept in character pretty well. finally he broke, he told me to go away. haha i was laughing so hard. i made the kids wait behind me. i started asking him if he was comfortable sleeping at night knowing that the “food” that he idolizes to these kids is nothing more than dead animal. the kids got kinda creeped out but he wouldn’t answer. finally after about 5 or 10 tens minutes of bashing the guy he turned to someone and said “i’m not doing this shit, i quit”
he took off the wig, which almost every little kid there started crying or got really mad. ha and then he walked to his Oldsmobile and left hahah….
i of course got told to leave, and got kicked out… but it was way fun. :)
so yeah can i have that meal now? ha

I could take this to school at lunch time and set it out along with some flyers on our table and have a little demo to spread the word. People are so BLINDED by McDonald’s tactics they don’t see what really goes on behind the doors of the factory. I think it’s time to stop that.

I think i deserve to win because I live on a farm and own chickens. Do you know why I own these chickens? Because they’re Free Range chickens. I have a barn for them to stay but I don’t believe in locking these animals up in it and making them serve their lives in a dark, dirty environment. I believe these wonderful animals are good for many things. Keeping the bugs out of my yard, helping me eat my cherry tomatoes out of my garden that I cannot, and simply entertaining me by watching them wander around the yard and exploring their world that is deprived from their distant relatives in the McDonalds Hell Farms. They deserve to live long happy lives and the Unhappy Meal campain will end this tyrants reign of terror.

I will not let myself start this comment with the same stuff everyone else starts off with for example the “the reason i deserve to win”. I would never start myself off with the same selfish saying “why i deserve to win” because in the long run if we all pull together it isnt us who deserves to win we’ve won already by not being tortured or dieing but the animals who deserve to win we all are here sharing our ideas and uniting as one to deserve to win and that puts a smile on my face wether we save on animal or all the animals we did somthing for this planet. I have very stronf views on animal abuse and animal crulity because i grew up in a home with my father the man i called “daddy” the man i thought was supposed to protect me as a living for over 20 years was most likley one of the men who are in one of those videos he killed 20 years worth of animals and i didnt do anything guilt has been on my sholders and will always be on my sholders because of my fathers mistakes. When i turned ten and was old enough to figure out how my house was being paid for i became a vegitarian iv been one since i used this website and the people on this website to help me get by because all my family was against me my father wouldnt look at me for 3 months he would always put me down for being a vegitarian, my family as well the only one who stood by my side was my mother and only to a certain extent. so throughout my whole life i felt like there was a part of me missing and i feel that peta has completed tha part. I WOULD LIKE TO JUST THANK YOU BECAUSE I APPRICIATE ALL THAT YOU’VE BEEN DOING.

I have always despised Mcdonalds. Just looking at their food makes me want to vomit. And hearing how they treat their animals makes me very hot tempered. And its not even just that. Mcdonalds isnt just killing animals, they are also killing people with morbid obecity. They deny it all the time but the chemicals in their food are just as addicting as drugs, caffeine, or alcohol. I believe Mcdonalds need to be taken down and i would love to help. and i also really want an Unhappy meal :( pwease!!

I believe, like most people here, that Mcdonalds is a very cruel but smart company. They use their food to bring people back for more, though those people are aware of what’s going on. I believe that if I won I could make the people around my neighborhood more aware. Lets call it a “friendly rude awakening”. I can’t remember the last time I ate at a Mcdonalds because I’m a vegetarian, but even if I wasn’t I don’t think I would eat there. I’m not sure how to end this comment so I’ll just do this…

I deserve to win because I need help. I am 33 years old and I have been vegetarian for 6 months. I have seen the error of my ways, and I feel great. It feels right, both spiritually and naturally. It was not a hard transition. I don’t miss meat, ever. The hardest step for me is moving towards a vegan life style, because it’s so hard to give up cheese and yummy bread.
Also, I am attempting this change while living in a house full of fast food loving, meat eating, lazy boned numb skulls. I always make my family eat what I make so they can see, smell and taste the benefits of vegetarian living, but it is so hard to keep them interested.
So, back to the beginning, I need help. Free stuff will help me stay the course and help my family keep changing their habits.
Thank you for believing in me!!!

I should win because I have been a vegetarian since I was four and havent eaten McDonalds since I was in 1st grade and learned about peta and all of the bad stuff mcdonalds does. Now I’m in seventh grade and know way too much about vegetarianism to ever quit. I love peta and they have really opened up my eyes. I am a vegetarian and will def NOT eat at McDonalds…so nasty. i always make comments to my friends when they eat it or talk about wanting it and they get a little annoyed but whatever. I think if i got this little kit I could bother them even more :] and hopefully help some people realize what it is that they are eating and how cruel it is to innocent living creatures. Keep it up Peta, I’d love to join you guys someday!

I would love to win the unhappy meal because I would use it to help explain to my family why going veg is the best option. Every time I eat a meal with them, they make fun of the veggie food I eat and once my cousin literally rubbed his hamburger in my face. ew. This would be really helpful for me, and hopefully for them too! Plus I really wanted to buy one, but you’re not selling them :(

I feel i should win this contest so I can protest more efficiently. I could get some people asking about my shirt and tell them of the cruelty performed for their Mcnuggets. All of the people I have shown or told about this have either pledged to be vegetarian or pledged never to eat their again. Since it’s hard for me to take any fliers places with my mom regulating it, i think a T-shirt is the next best thing. Plus, all of the other items are wonderful for protesting. I like the fake blood ketchup especially. I would like for anyone to get this packet, but it would be cool if i could have it to. As long as the protesting gets done, then yay!

I would like to win this very witty unhappy meal because its awesome. Actually, My boyfriend is a mcdonalds fanatic…I won’t kiss him until an hour after and after he’s brushed his teeth. Say i win this, I want to show him what he’s digesting. 1. It’s unhealthy and i want his heart to still be beating a day from now and 2. He loves animals!
Thishas to push him to his limit and then he will be on our side! I never eat mcdonalds i’ve always hated it. I think Peta should create some more things like this why not a kfc kids laptop meal…The deal is like pick your chicken pick your side and pick your drink and snack. It could be like pick your chicken pick your method of killing and tee shirt. the box could be a cage… I can imagine so many ways of doing that. Cool idea! But any ways i love this way of campaning so PLEASE PICK ME!

I know I deserve it because ever since I saw the McDonald’s cruelty campaign, I’ve wanted it. I want it, that’s all. I would take it to school in my lunchbox, and all my friends would be like “What’s that?” And I’d be all “It’s my Unhappy Meal. It’s what all the kids are orderin’.” I take my own lunch because my highschool doesn’t offer anything other than meat. Even on a day like today, the first day back, they had pop-corn chicken with gravy, OR beef tacos. “Hey look! I’m eating death too!”

See i’ve bugged a good amount of my friends enough that i’ve convinced them 2 join me im mah fight 2 save our planets animals and many have. I’ve used just about everything peta has provided me with 2 promote animal cruelty awareness from passing out flyers and stickers at school n 2 frends from passing them out 2 people at the entrance of mcdonalds which was fun. I think i could use this unhappy meal well and i plan 2 so i would very much appreciate it if i could win this chance 2 continue my fight and plus the t-shirt is pretty awesome. much love and thanks karina

Im not going to tell you I’ve been Vegan for years upon years, or that i’ve never eaten McDonalds… No. What im going to tell you is that I know I can make a difference. And if I can, so can McDonalds patrons. Give me that “unhappy meal” and i’ll be sure to make a statement.
There are at least ten McDonalds around where I live. Where ever I go, no matter what my destination is, Im always bombarded with those disgusting advertisements. The McChicken. The McGriddle. The McDouble. The McNuggets.
    The Mc-If-I-See-Another-McANYTHING-I’ll-McStab-My-Eyes-Out.
Have you seen the way children eat? And what the average weight for a six year old nowadays is compared to a six year old ten years ago?? A contributing factor being the false advertisement for the healthier McDonalds meal options. Eating McDonalds food is not healthy and it sure as hell ain’t humane.
Im proud of who I am and all i’ve done to stand up for the things I believe in. And I’d be very pleased to have this opportunity to prove myself, yet again, a proud voice for the poor abused animals who can’t speak for themselves.

I strongly dislike wat mcdonalds does and not only that but the food sucks. unfortunately my family doesnt really support the fact that i went veggie. they purposely go to KFC and mcdonalds just to bug me. they think they can break me but they cant. most of the times i just not eat while they eat that crap.:/ not only is my not a big help but neither is my friends. living in a small town in oklahoma where everything is about hunting and what not i rarely run into people like me. so i think by getting the unhappy meal i would be able to make a big difference in my friends and i would be able to educate alot of people:)

I’ve been a vegetarian since I was five. I am the only one in my (very meat based Italian) family who does not eat any meat. However, many of my friends and family have began to be more aware of the severity of their food choices, and some have even gone vegetarian because of my influence. I refuse to go to KFC and other places which practice animal cruelty such as McDonalds. I am not afraid to stand up for those who cannot when I believe in something. These “Unhappy meals” would be a new way to show my opinion and get the word out on how to make compassionate and well educated choices when it comes to our health, as well as the animals we relay on everyday to supply us with food.

okay well i have a really strong view on animal abuse because i grew up as my father the man i called daddy as one of the people who do these horrible things to animals i found that out when i was 10 and since then i would would not put a once living breathing thing near my mouth. i never understood how the man that i thought would protected me would do such horrible things to animals. Since the dayi found out i never looked at him the same i was heartbroken and didnt know what to believe. i was always the little girl to find hurt animals and keep them in my garage to nurture and help back to life i feel that people who can do that to animals must not feel or care about any other living thing till now it is the hardest thing to look at him and give him a huug and say “daddy i love you”.i later found out that maybe there hope. i feel that whoever it goes to it will be in there best intrest. PETA2 helped me not feel alone throughout this whole expericance because my family did my dad disaproved and wouldnt talk to me for 3 months for being a vegitarian.

i think i deserve to win the unhappy meal because only using a few signs and stickers to protest may not be enough to get the word out there. more a visual like the unhappy meal may make it a bit easier to protest mccruelty and it’s horridness. :) me protesting with an unhappy meal at my side WILL help those who consume mccruelty change their minds a bit about how they support animal torture everytime they purchase a burger or a chicken nugget. i’ve absolutely hated mccruelty ever since i’ve seen a peta video against it about 2 or 3 years ago. [i think] those videos have made me also become vegan. i feel alot better now than ever with a change in my diet. and alot better now that mccruelty is no longer part of it. maybe others should do the same. grant me an unhappy meal peta2!! i believe animal cruelty is no joke the kind of things MC Donald’s is doing to the poor animals is outrageous. i wouldn’t want to be tortured and eaten just because people wanted to taste my flesh. with the way they make the packaging and everything there leading kids to there food. animals deserve the right to live just as much as we humans do. if animals could talk they would tell us we are hurting them an what we are doing is wrong. only we can make a difference! i may be only one person but i know one is better then none. life is better when your meat free. healthier and all around better you’ll feel better to.

I have always hated what mcdonalds does to the chickens. I sometimes feel like i should walk in their and tell people what they are eating. So i did. It was on july 9 of this year that i walked in one that is close by and started telling people. Some were intrested. More than I thought. Some just started laughing, but that didn’t stop me. The people that were intrested spit out their food and walked out. WOW!! I really did not expect that reaction from them. It was amazing!!They actually listened to me!! That was when the manager told me to get out. People kept staring, but i didn’t care about them. Since i had to leave (and i knew that if i didn’t i will be in big trouble)i threw in my last words, “YOU ARE EATING SH#T!” . aND I RAN OUT. Luckly i didn’t get chased. I was so glad about what I did that I told Everybody. They looked up to me from that point on. I dont regret it AT ALL!! Thats why I KNOW I deserve the prize.

Ever since I learned what McDonald’s does to their chickens, I haven’t been able to look at their food without gagging. Whenever I go in there with my family or friends, I hold my nose and squint so everyone can see my discomfort. When we leave, i run out of the building and violently slam the doors shut. People always comment about how rude I am, and once an employee asked me why I did it. I told them, loudly, that anything that’s in their food sure as hell wasn’t happy.
I think I deserve to win because I’m not afraid to speak out against eating meat. I don’t care if people think I’m rude, so long as they hear me. I make sure vegetarianism is known, and the cruelty towards animals also. I’m going to a Battle of The Bands next week, and everyone there will know. Everyone at school will know. Everyone in my town will know. Everyone I meet on the internet will know, whether I win or not.

    Why I should be chosen:
I think I could go into consideration of being chosen because I live in South Texas and here its all about meat. I chose to live a meat free life even though it can sometimes be a little difficult, I still manage to be determined. I’ve always hated McDonalds, Burger King, etc. I am always being told by my mother that I am going to die or be hospitalized and have ivy put into me. So my mom was no support but I am still determined. I was inspired by Christopher Drew and Jason Mraz but I become a non meat eater for myself and the innocent animals of our planet. Also, I was once kicked out of a Mcdonalds and a Burger King for passing out homemade slips to check out the video “Meet your Meat” I was still kept strong and passed a few at school. In South Texas there are a lot of Mexicans (not to be racist/offensive, I am Hispanic) the people think that all this stuff is stupid and half of those slips I passed out were thrown away (another problem for the planet). If I could win this I would wear the shirt EVERYWHERE to spread the word!

The reason that I really believe that I should win is because of many reasons. First and foremost, I have not eaten a single thing from, or even stepped into a McDonalds in over 2 years. (and i most definitely plan to continue that). That was even before I KNEW about the McCruelty campaign. Then I saw the movie “Supersize Me” and went home and did a load of research on how unhealthy McDonalds was, because it disgusted me horribly. While looking through a few websites, I began to come across some Peta videos, and information of how horribly the chickens were totured. I immediately became a vegetarian, for 5 months. My parents didn’t approve, but after I showed them how badly the chickens and KFC and McDonalds treat their chickens. My parents, sister, brother, and I refuse to eat at either place ever again. I’ve protested, and handed out leaflets against both KFC and McDonalds, and my parents have even joined in telling their friends and family about this torture. I even plan to make an Against Animal Cruelty Club in my highschool in which I shall be the president. I will of course share with them the McCruelty and KFC campaigns. These are the reasons why I think I should win.

I believe I should win because I had a very original idea of protesting. Last year, for Halloween, my friends and I bought and edited our own costumes. We went to McDonald’s dressed as a nugget, a big mac, and a mcchicken. The twist? Splattered with “blood” red paint for effect :)
We were kicked out immediately for scaring children, or so they said. Maybe they were haunted by the thought of what they were doing to animals.

CLUCK MCDONALDS!!!! I haven‘t eaten there since I found out what was really going on there. People see me around campus all of the time passing out information on Animal Cruelty and many of those things were provided to me by PETA. Pamphlets, stickers and videos are great but sometimes, a new tactic, such as the Unhappy Meal could turn heads, because believe it when I say “every major event thrown on campus I‘ll be at a table outside of it showing them the Unhappy Meal.” I deserve to win this because I know that I can make a difference with my family, friends and students on my campus.

Although i haven’t been Vegetarian for long its still bad and i feel guilty to see what i use to eat. But I think you guys should make some MCcruelty stickers!! I would put them everywhere! I would put them all over McDonalds too so everyone can see what there eating! :)

I think I deserve to win because this would be the perfect thing to use with an anti McDonald’s protest! I’ll be the chick wearing a mcCruelty shirt sitting in a booth near the register at McDonald’s! I would have my unhappy meal with me and i will ask everyone who walks by me if they would like a free unhappy meal they’d probably be like Oh sure! er..Don’t you mean happy meal? then I’d be like what’s so happy about it; the chickens are slaughtered in the most cruel method imaginable, seriously dude imagine being a chicken eating your food getting morbidly obese, and then have some stinky slaughterhouse worker pick you up by the feet attach you to a metal stirrup thing and have you beheaded without any antiseptic? That’s about as unhappy as it gets. the dude would be like whoa maybe I don’t want this crap after all…mind if I join you? Me: sure no problem lets be against factory farming together! Boycott McDonalds!!!

I am just commenting on this not expecting to win anything at all…. I just want to say my piece and have it heard. The last time I at McDonalds was just before this campaign had started and since then I get sick every time someone eats it around me and I get a qweezy feeling just thinking about it. My dad and step mom no longer eat there do to the fact that they get sick aswell. No place has the right to do anything like this to animals for any reason at all. It is sad how many people actually eat at McDonalds and support this torture to chicks day in and day out. There are few people out there that will listen to reasoning about this, others will just ignore it or fight against the fact stating that the animals are breed to be eatin. I wonder how people would feel if a place started killing humans to make food, I know there would be an uproar and things would be changed fast, why isn’t it this way for animals as well? Our society needs to wake up and open their eyes to what is happening and help put a stop to it. As I like to tell people “The animals of the world cannot stand up for themselves, so we need to stand up for them.” There are people out there that are to afraid to say anything about McDonalds, to afraid to go against what society believes but did not someone once say “Stand up for what you believe in even if it means standing alone.” Well like I said I just wanted to say my piece adn there it is. Thanks for taking the time out to read my comment.

I made my best friends veg too after telling her about all the cruelty people do to the poor animals. I even went to KFC one time because my dad eats there (and i hate him for that lol) and i showed the costomers pictures of the cruelty. One person even left before ordering! :D And if i get the shirt, i hope i will make and influence on people about McCruelty(:

Love the idea. I’ve never liked McDonald’s ever since they came out with that movie Supersize Me and frankly, Ronald just creeps me out. So, if I could show the world that not only is Ronald creepy, but that McDonald’s is cruel to animals, for me it’d be a win-win situation.

I love meat and i allways though that its was healthy for you, like the pyramid said but really its just all lies.Im very different from my family i suport different organizations and as a cuban whe love meat thats why whe raise owr own pigs chiken horses ect.Im over weight, when i first came to the united states i was so skinny “No i didnt came by a balsa i came by plane :)”I stared to see so much different food in here and i just wanted to eat them all at the same time.Every time i look in a mirror i feel depressed but when i look at videos of animals being slauther i just feel like killer. I want to be healthy and i want people to notice what being a vegan can do for you. all i want is a chance to change my future. For me making a change in this world is all to me i want to be someone everyone loves respect and admires but for that to happen i need to change some of my happits staring by becoming a vegan i love animals and i feel like there humans to i mean they know what pain is there smart and they are great friends. The only reason they sometimes act crazy its because the way whe treat them and act they have feelings to they are gods creactions there not to kill but to admir :)
On this day i pledge on becoming a vegan and passing my knowledge on to my friends family and the world.

Why do I deserve to win? Well for one I have not eaten McDonald’s for over 2 years and even before that I hardly are it. I’ve been a vegetarian for 2 years and I’m a proud activist against animal cruelty. I decided to go Vegetarian after I watch the video on meant.org even before that I knew that it was wrong. I am the only person in my family that is a Vegetarian and I inform my family and friends all the time on animal cruelty. Animals are very important in my life and i would like to show more support by winning this contest.

I don’t and wont eat fast food. Fast food companies are in it for the money, and or course, animal welfare is the last thing on their minds. They don’t care that their $1 value meal contains the meat of animals that suffered their whole entire lives and never knew what it was like to be free. I think the mass production of meat just so you don’t have to get out of your own car for a meal is stupid. Get off of your butts, cook a meal, pack it up and take it on the road with you. Not only will you save a considerable amount of money, but a considerable amount of lives too.

Even by promoting peta 2 by sticking stickers on my binders and passing them out they are still not convinced. So by wining I’ll be able to spread the word even more about what people are doing to animals and might just get them to become a vegetarian.

I think this is the kind of campaign we need more of… The time for throwing paint on fur wearers is long gone, the “in your face” confrontational campaigns only serve to alienate potential converts anymore. It’s not an issue of “there’s no such thing as bad publicity” with a campaign where you want people to actually stop and listen rather than just going on the defensive. This McCruelty campaign seems very well thought out because the rhetoric shows just how strongly we feel, but it’s in a way to catch attention and give us a chance to educate those around us, rather than just an attempt to piss off everyone at McDonalds and get on the news. The up and coming generation is one where knowledge truly does represent power, and these kinds of things can help us spread that power rather than reinforcing popular opinion of animal rights groups as nut jobs who throw paint and shove pictures of mutilated animals in people’s faces. Good job getting the dialog open guys!

I believe I should win because I hate McDonalds. My brothers school hosts these “McCare Nights” where you eat at McDonalds and some of the money goes to the school. Yeah, sure, the money going to the school is really good, but not at McDonalds. They are raising these kids to enjoy chickens who are harmed. Not only could I protest this, but I could show awareness and see if I could get the school to stop or move it to another restaurant. It makes me squirm even thinking about it… And the t-shirt I could wear pretty much anywhere. :)

I recently started a Peta club at our school and it is going great. Our school host an event called “Club Rush” and it is when all of the clubs go out during lunch and show off their stuff. I was really pushing this campaign against Mcdonalds , By handing out numerous fliers and stickers. By the end of the day almost everyone had a Mcruelty sticker on. Soon we are going to go post fliers up around Mcdonalds and tell people what they are eating, comes from an extremely cruel and torturous environment. I honestly don’t know if i can say i Deserve to win something though… I believe I’m just doing what’s right.

As far as I can remember (I’m 32) I’ve tryed to eat at McDo 5 times. The first time when we were on holidays with my brothers and parents near Bordeaux (France) and my father put his whole menu in the bin : that was a good advice. The second attempt was in SF but we finished in an italian restaurant : that was a good exchange I think. The next one while I was 15 discovering Lille (France) with a friend and I didn’t understand why he wanted a second BigMac menu. I also remember once when I was student : I had no time but finally spend some queuing… And next year in Norway because there was no more restaurants open at 4PM I had a simili plastic salad for lunch !!
So I can say my tests of McDo hasn’t give me bad habits -lol- THEY ALL WERE UNHAPPY MEALS !!!

I think I deserve to win an unhappy meal because I was raised by vegan parents and always hated the taste of meat. It makes it worse knowing that it was tortured and abused too. I deserve to win an unhappy meal because I hand out stickers and flyers out to everyone I walk by which includes at school, on the bus, at parties and on the street. I convinced three of my friends to become vegetarian and showed countless people the video from mccruelty.com. One time, my friends and I drove around and went into 6 mcdonalds (in one day!) in our town and in the towns next to us. We handed everyone at the tables flyers and stickers and we handed them to the people working there too. It felt great! I really hope I win!

I have been a vegetarian for about three years now and have supported all causes to end animal suffering. the reason I decided to become a vegetarian was because chickens were my favorite animals and I could not imagine eating somthing so helpless and cute. So I changed my diet and went meatless since then. Now I dont go to fast food places because they only seem to abuse animals, like kfc and mcdonalds. All fast food places dislike chickens! Now my goal is to support all who oppose animal slater and abuse. So i believe if I won that i could use the unhappy meal to prove to people what mcdonalds does and try to stop it.

I think I deserve to win because I’ve made such a drastic change in my lifestyle in such a short period of time. I found out about PETA in mid-July, and since then have done nothing but work towards making everything in my life cruelty-free.
I found alternatives to all the products I owned that were tested on animals, and am doing my best to get the word out about PETA’s many campaigns [through social networks, leafleting, petitions, etc]. And as a former meat lover, I’ve become a vegetarian and convinced my boyfriend to do the same.
This fall I start my first year of high school, and I’m excited to make PETA a part of it. Living down the street from a McDonald’s and having many friends who love to eat there, I think I’d be able to put the prize to great use.

Every time I ride the subway in Toronto, I drop a McCruelty flier on my seat as I’m leaving. When I’m off the train, I can see the people who sat around me reading the fliers and looking horrified at the info it contains. I also petition and hand out leaflets and stickers outside of McDonalds, and I’ve convinced quite a few people not to eat there after telling them about how McDonalds treats their chickens. If I had an UnHappy Meal, I would use it to convince the people who are stuck in their McDonalds-eating ways that a dollar menu is not worth torturing helpless chickens.

I should win beacuse I would wear my t-shirt EVERYWHERE, and use it to help me with my many protests. Also, almost all my friends eat at McDonalds, and I think this would show them the evil, unnessicary, cruelty behind it. Theres McDonalds left and right where I live, down the street both ways, in the Walmarts, 2 more further up the block , AND one on the way to school. So this would be GREAT to be able to hold an awesome protest at each one. I’ve helped many of my family memebers either stop, or really cut back on eating meat, but I dont want to quit there. I’ve found my cause, and nothing will stop me. I hand out flyers, stickers, and dvds. So please help me show my city the REAL McDonalds. Thanks! -Miranda

Maybe when I go to McDonalds to pick up my sister, who works there haha. I think that the rest of the mcCruelty meal package would be a great conversational piece in my room/house to have and a great way to get other people to ask about it first, so I don’t sound pushy when I try to educate them about McDonalds and the cruelty they are supporting. I would also love to wear the shirt when if I do a protest against Mcdonalds or hold the sign in front of it. I’ll feel much more legit haha and maybe get more attention :) I would love to win this!

Since I couldn’t protest McDonalds this year…. I went inside with some friends, and as the ordered and got their seats, I started talking loudly that McDonalds abuses their chickens, and they should start using cruelty-free methods of killing. I also started talking about how chickens are killed in factories, and how they are alive and feeling all the pain. I was asked by the manager to leave the property. And I simply said Fine, but you can’t stop me from telling the truth about how the animals are killed and treated.

I think I should win the unhappy meal because I would treasure it forever. I would seriously show it to everyone! Haha. I have never ate at McDonald’s, I am proud to say that my parents are vegans and raised me as a vegan. I have truly been dedicated to animals my whole life. It makes me glad that I can use my backgroud to inspire people, like my friend who just became a vegan not long ago because she saw how much it meant to me and how happy I was about being a vegan. I think I could work my magic on the whole community with this unhappy meal, and maybe even get my little cousins inerested in veganism, people are always asking me about it and I always want to be willing to tell them. I still keep the peta2 flyers and stickers in my backpack incase someone was to ask me about veganism/ animal cruelity/ animal testing/ etc. I think showing someone objects so they can visaulize things keeps them interested about the topic. I think I deserve to win a Unhappy Meal, because I would use it as another way to spread how McDonalds uses animal cruelty for the production of their food. I think in addittion to handing out informational flyers and stickers, this is a great way to inform people and get more people to stop supporting McDonalds completely or until it decides to use a cruelty-free method when it comes to using animals for food. I would take my Unhappy Meal into any Mcdonalds I see, everywhere I go and even to school while I’m at lunch. I’ve handed out stickers and flyers about McDonald’s animal cruelty before with my friends and I’m sure they’d tag along to help me show off my Unhappy Meal! =]

I would use the unhappy meal display to show people what they are really eating. I would make a video using mcdonalds chicken and explaining what happens to the innocent animals. I became vegetarian because 3 years ago i took a bite of a bloody, fatty chicken nugget at mcdonalds and realized what the animals have to go through for a 4 peice nugget pack! And i would post pictures and flyers around with mcdonalds chicken in the unhappy meal containers and have the theme song… badh bah bah bah im hatin’ it! Chicken mccruelty! inside every unhappy meal! Thats why i think i deserve to win! :]

As a passionate vegan, as much as I would love to save a copy of this for myself (I think what you’ve done there is great!), I would get much satisfaction out of sending my copy to the CEO of McDonalds Australia- Peter Bush, along with letter of explanation of how McDonalds standards of killing chicken are absolutely unnacceptable, especially in this day and age, along with a couple of alternative solutions that a few of my vegan and veg friends can help me think of in the mean time! I’d be more than happy to forward the letter to other executives within the McDonalds corporation and send it into local and state-wide newspapers.(actually maybe i’d keep the T-Shirt! We wouldnt want Bush disposing of such a great item!)
…haha maybe Autralia should even start a campaign about how evil must go hand in hand with the name Bush- thats two evil men I can think of right now.

McDonalds is horrid and I would love to have an opportunity to see the unhappy meal in real life and use it to show people the atrocities they commit.

Winning this would meen a lot to me. I live in a straight up hick town where you are prided on hunting. Yet i stand on a corner downtown, trying to make a difference. I get taunted, my own father disowned me for being vegan. Animal rights is a big deal to me, and i try hard (even though its usually mocked upon here) to spread the word. I have changed peoples minds, and even the few i have, makes a difference to me. I’m only 17, but for me, it proves that the youth will determine the future, and i want the future to be pain free. This shirt, and winning package you have put together would help people understand i will not back down them. That THEY are the pathetic ones. and that i have my own piece of mind and i will show it on a bumpersticker, or a shirt, or wherever.
    :) thanks,

Ever since I first decided to stop eating meat, my family and friends always tried to talk me out of it. I always try to persevere and ignore what they tell me, because I kno in my heart what’s right. I love educating my family and friends about the cruelties of the meat industry and your t-shirts are a nice help =] Love ya peta2!!!

So there was this one time when all the staff at work ordered McDicks for our midnight staff meeting (I work at a summer camp for kids). Anyways, after the meeting was over and my fellow employees are munching on their “food”, full of cruelty and grease, I went on a rant about animal cruelty and how inhumane animal slaughter is. It was satisfying to see untouched food thrown into the garbage.

If I win this Unhappy meal i will be sure to tell all of Mcdonalds customers what cruel things they are doin this these innocent animals and make sure they get a taste of PETA 2 AND MY MIND!Thank you!!
p.s. i will make sure to keep my word when i win this UNhappy meal and spread the knowledge of me and many others!

I would like to win because, I used to be big into Mcdonalds, but that all changed when I became concious of life, and looking into the choke hold Coca Cola have on poor communities, and the way meat is brought about. I am not a vegan, so I probably won’t win, but I do as much as I can to support decent conditions, I don’t buy RSPCA battery chicken idea’s, they have to have a long healthy happy life. I am even against supermarket free range, because I doubt the standards due to research.
Plus I work with charities to organise funraisers and awareness boosts… Anyway, hit me up on my site or email me if you need any help promoting and funding PETA 2, take care…

I think it would be great if i won this prize because I have a family of McDonald lovers and being able to show them the things that come in the prize would really get them thinking about how their food is processed. These meals are very unhealthy and being able to promote the unhappy meal will only help us stop people from making a bad choice in their daily meals. Im also in alot of school activites so I can spread the word to the school and can even make a rally of animal rights for the school. Family and friends didn’t thought I would make it past 2 weeks. I’ve showed them that if you put your mind a 100% into a good cause, you can do it. Since I’ve turned vegetarian, my younger sister and my best guy friend followed and my mom hardly EVER eats (only some of the times we go out to restaurants)…yeah I still need to work a bit on my mom, lol.
Altogether, I would wear my shirt to college, super proud with a big smile. It’s a really nice creative kit that you guys decided to make. I’d love to be an advocate on college.

I would show those amazing McCruelty items to my family, to teachers at school, to my friends and tell them how McDonalds companies murders the chickens and the cows. Its just so painful to watch the video that scares you for your entire life including to watch them in real life=(. Being a vegetarian has changed my life completely, but to be made fun of?!?! i dont think so… so please choose me because its so hard at home and im getting sick and tired of being made fun of at home o and at school.

It’s hard, because my family will eat there and I can’t control them and they don’t want to hear when I say, “you know those baby chicks we saw at school, they go to the slaughter houses and are put through an immense amount of unnecessary pain..” That’s the thing.. people know what’s being done, they just don’t want to hear about it. I believe that I should win because I go around on a daily basis, struting around in PETA gear just to show off how amazing PETA is(: I tell everyone that I know about the cruley that goes about in the making of their meal. Every day I get called “That Crazy PETA chick” by all of my friends because I tend to annoy them with my long talks about how horribly mistreated animals are before they have their lives taken away just to feed the carnivore. People tell me all that time that in wild, animals eat one another and that we’re just doing to them what they do naturaly. I tell them that we have a choice on rather or not we want to take apart of that, and that we don’t have to. I think that I should win because I would use it wisely and show them even more in depth, of what goes on, realistical(:

Mcdonalds is just about the only place that is always hiring, and i took a job because i had read a lot of the anti mcd’s literature and wanted to see what was up for myself. The boy training me kept talking about how he was on the atkins diet and really enjoyed his employee discount. HA! I laugh. I went through training. Never got a full day clocked in. I cleaned feces off a toilet seat. Got treated like i was illiterate and responsible for foreign wars.I started developing a noticeable tinitus. I was charged for my uniform. Cashed in my 15 dollar pay check and bought a haircut. Listen to mdc.

I deserve an Unhappy Meal because…
    1) even though I used to love McDonalds french fries, I have not eaten there ever since PETA released their undercover video, and that takes willpower! just joking, it wasnt hard to stay away from McDonalds after hearing the horrible things about them!
    2) I think fake blood is awesome!! especially when it is used to educate other people about animal cruelty. I think I know a good use for that “blood filled” ketchup packet *laughs evilly*. Dont worry, some good will come out of it :D
    3) I am a HUGE fan of t-shirts and I would wear the t-shirt to school, church, golf practice, the supermarket and just all over the place!
    4) While we’re on the topic of t-shirts, I dont really have any other nice animal rights t-shirts except for home-made ones and my mom will not let me spend twenty dollars on a shirt (even though the skelanimals one is so adorable!)
    5) And last but not least… who WOULDNT want something as awesome and edgy as a UNHAPPY meal??? I know I deserve, and want one so badly!

I HATE mcdonalds and have not eaten there since I found out how cruel they are to the animals. Not only that, butt the place is literally disgusting. I go against my family and friends asking them to stop eating there. Plus, mcdonald’s food is unhealthy and gross. I’ve convinced several of my friends to become veggies and boycott mcdonalds. I hope to win the unhappy meal in order to help convince more people that mcdonalds is full of suffering, inoccent chickens that are treated horribly.

I recently turned vegetarian for over 2 months now. and i know thats not that long, but i am very serious about it. Nobody in my family beleived me when i told them. and when they asked why i wanted to be a vegetarian, i told them it was all because of PETA.org. I got bored one night and decided to see what it was all about, and what i saw on the site has changed the way i do everything. I no longer eat anything from McDonald’s. or KFC. I also won’t buy anything from Petsmart. I won’t let any of my family buys things from here either. I have also been trying to get my dad to adopt a dog from our animal shelter. I am going to volunteer at one of my states animal shelter as soon as i am old enough to. I always let it be known that i am a vegetarian and the places i protest. Sometimes it creates arguements, even between myself and a family member, but i always stick my ground. Though i haven’t converted anyone to vegetarianism yet, i know that i will someday. and I think that will an Unhappy meal i could show it to some of my friends and family, and tell them about the truth behind McDonalds, then they might change the way they eat. or at least not support McDonalds:)

Ive never eaten from McDonald’s I’ve always found their food extremely disgusting and the McCruelty just further more proves the point on why fast food should boycotted until animal treatment improves. I deserve to win because I campaign for what I believe in and will spread word against McDonald’s and their treatment. I helped with the KFC campaign in my home town and would love to help again with McDonalds.

I DO belive animal testing breaks hearts, and i absolutly HATE McCruelty. I saw the video, and I cried for days. I had nightmares he(ronald mcdonald) would come slaughter me! I love peta2, And I think i deserve to win!!!

I never ever EVER eat at McDonald’s. When I was younger my dad use to go there, and he would get me a happy meal, & I would find a hard chunk of fat in ever nugget, and it made me sick. Once I found out how they slaughtered the chickens, I never ate there again. It has been years since I’ve stepped foot in McDonald’s, or any fast food restaurant.
    Poor animals. They have feelings too! D;

I feel that I deserve this because I have not eaten McDonalds food, EVER in my life. Me and my family feel it is not good practice. Also, I petition at a local mcdonalds in my neighborhood once a month. I have made three people vegetarians and one person vegan. I would love to have this because I could wear my shirt to school, and everywhere I go, and since my school has TONS of people, I feel it would be a good way to get the word out! I will also use these awesome materials every way I can to ensure that evil, ruthless and cruel so called “corporations” like Mcdonals, will never make a dollar by torturing innocent, defensless animals. Thank you Peta2 for this opportunity! :)

I have been to a slaugher house before to protest. I was afraid. But I stopped being fearful and just gave them my mind I screamed “HEY SIR!! what if you were one of thoes animals!?” he just looked and started walking towards us with a few chickens..”Here” he had said and handed us the chickens “Save them and hide them.” Very successful day indeeed

I feel that I should win because I am an advocate for animal rights. My major in college is psychology ,but I have every intention of using my resources to fight cases of animal abuse after and during graduation. I am constantly telling those on my campus about this animal abuse and have convinced a few to join me in my McDonalds boycott. While I am not a veggie, I am very careful with what I eat. I go the extra mile to only buy humane products. I envision one day to live in a fair world. I am fighting everyday for this dream to become a reality. I deserve to win because I will use this unhappy meal as a learning tool to help promote the cause.

Just imagine all the questions and comments I will get if I showed that to my friends and family! That would be a great way to start a conversation about the torture that goes on in those slaughter houses, and animal cruelty in general. Trust me, I break out those facts anytime I can. ;)

But I always make time to share information with people about veganism, healthier lifestyles, and especially when my mother wants to eat out, I tell her EXACTLY what she is eating. I loved working for the KFC campaign, I went to “resturaunts” and let out pamphlets in the bathroom and stickered and such. I love working with PETA and showing my support. Ok for number one mcdonalds is gross. My little brother always want to go there and eat which I am disgusted of. I have to sit it the smelly rotten mcdonalds and breathe in the horrendous air. I used to eat just there French frus unroll I found out there was beef flavor in my fries then I was like that’s pretty gross. To this date I do not eat any fast food I believe that I can make a Mel on my I own. I am not like all of those other lazy ass people who need to stop for a quick meal and kill tons of animals. I wi. Say home make my own food and know what actually goes into my food. Also, a little while ago there was a mcdonalds protest which I antes to go to pick up an unhappy meal so we went to the mcdonalds where it was at and waited 30 minutes just to find out that there was three different mcdonalds on the same street within. 2 miles of eacother we went to all three but no luck. However I guess past the third one a mile down the road there was a fourth one which I soo figured out I was very dissappointed because I wanted to show my little brother what he is actually eating than you guys so much for telling me not to eat crap :)

I come from a small town where vegetarian is a word normally not heard. If I were in a line up to see who was the vegetarian chances are you suspect me last. I’m pretty much a buff giant and I got this way with a vegetarian lifestyle. My friends still pick on me when we go out to eat, but I don’t care one bit because I know that I can eat knowing full well no animal had to die to feed me. I’m all for the fight against McDonalds as well as the one against KFC. Chain restaurants are horrible in every way.

I deserve to win because I have only ate McDonalds a few times in my life, when i was younger of course. I have been highly against it for many years, and will continue to be against it forever! I don’t eat any sort of meat, and I wish my family would do the same. My parents and sister really enjoy the taste of McDonalds, and when I see them coming home with it, I tell them all the ‘gross’ things about it. This gift would show them how I really feel about McDonalds! Infact, it might even gross them out a bunch, which is what i’m aiming for! It only happens to be that I go up to my family when they eat their McDonalds that I question them about what their eating, which grosses them out, so they slowly eat their food, or put it in the fridge for later when I’m not around to see them eat it! Hopefully I get to win my first gift of the McCruelty ‘package’!

If I win an Unhappy Meal, I will wear my t-shirt around school, in restaurants, grocery stores,… everywhere! I will show my friends, family, and probably even strangers what they are really eating. I have been a vegetarian for quite a few years now. For a while I was a pescatarian and would still eat chicken and so when my family would go to McDonald’s I would order their chicken and then I heard about what they do to chickens and it broke my heart. Since then I have got my family to stop eating there and a few of my friends too. Animal cruelty is really close to my heart and I try to do anything I possibly can to make a difference. I would love to win this prize becasue it will show my thoughts and hopefully gross others out and feel bad for the chickens as well.

Firstly, it’s amazing that so many people are commenting and trying to win! The more people involved, the better! I would love to win one of the Unhappy Meals because it would be an excellent tool to promote PETA, explain the horrors of McDonald’s cruelty to animals, and really to make people think. I’m in the process of starting an animal rights group at my conservative university – having materials such as the Unhappy Meal to work without would be extremely useful to discuss with people in the group, and to use at our events and displays. A lot of my friends and peers are very conservative, and their views are difficult to sway. Some of my friends, although I know they don’t mean this in a malicious way towards me, even tease me about hoping that my animal rights activism is ‘just a phase’, or tell me that ‘for every animal you don’t eat, I’ll eat five’, and things of that nature. I think seeing something like the Unhappy Meal, complete with my other posters and information, would really get through to them, and many other people. Using materials like the Unhappy Meal at my displays near the dining areas on campus would be irreplaceable. Thanks for your consideration, and good luck to everyone!

I think I deserve to win, because ever since I was little, I have loved animals and never seen the point in eating them. I almost threw up when I once ate at my friend’s house when I was in second or third grade and they’d made steak. I became a vegetarian one and a half years ago, when I took my guts together and told my family that I don’t want to eat any animal ever again and after that even they have started to eat less meat and cook veggie-meals. Also some of my close friends went vegetarian after I told them about my decision.
I haven’t been to McDonald’s in years, because it is just repulsive as it is. When I heard about what they do to chicken and other poor beings, I started to completely ignore them. I got a good laugh once when I passed their headquarters and there was this sign stenciled on it http://i30.tinypic.com/vzwo6b.jpg , it’s Estonian for “EAT SH*T”
Also I promote vegetarianism as a lifestyle for people who want to feel better, mentally and physically. I have an adorable shirt with a picture of a cow on it, it says “Don’t eat me!”
and the shirt is from a second-hand shop, so it’s recycled. Even one of my classmates, who thinks we only eat cabbage and carrots, tried it out and found it to be quite nice as he said himself.
Altogether, I support everything that has to do with animal rights and veg(etari)anism.

My dislike of McDonald’s is about more than just animal cruelty (which is a big part of it.)
It’s about McDonald’s effect on the world at large.
They are the cause of childhood obesity.
They “teach” children what they should be eating, which is large amounts of animal fat and sugar.
They are the reason that children have been exploited by media moguls in advertisements.
They are destroying our wonderful planet with agribusiness.

I am the only vegetarian in my family, i get made fun of for being vegetarian by my family but i keep going because i save animals. Peta and Peta2 are one of my heros in life. I even got the McCruelty posters and more stickes, i haven’t been able to do the protest because my mom moved out of my dad’s house and i left them over there but i will get them, i also promise to do the protest if i get this Unhappy meal, i also moved into apartments and i gave out the little “what they never told you” booklits, which informed all my neighbors about the truth, and i copied small cards for the free vegetarian starter kit and passed them around the mall at Parkside. I also try to make my family go vegetarian, i cooked vegan cake and pancakes for them, i even made my cousin go vegetarian, which she only lasted 2 weeks but because her mom said she had too.I even had plans to ask my Princibal of starting an animal rights club at school this kit would be great to use as a demonstration at the club, So please i would love this Unhappy meal if you gave it to me, i would wear the shirt all the time.

i honestly, have to say that all fast food chains are horrible, eating animals is a sin in my mind. Mcdonalds is a great example of how most fast food chains are a hell holes to animals, especially chickens, I have not been to any fast food chains for about 3 years, and those years were the best, I have lost many pounds, my skin is clearer, and my hair is more silkier. I’m not here to win this prize, even though it would be nice, (:
but I’m here to try to recruit new vegetarians, i honestly have to say that I hate how so many coorperations in this country are abusing are inocent animals, just to make a profit, not only am i concerned for the animals, that are being harmed in industries across the world, but I’m also really against global warming, and all those trucks that transport animals, only lead to more and more dangerous greenhouse gases and fumes that harm us right now, and in the future. A few years back, during the summer, I visited my parent, home country Vietnam, there were mcdonalds, and kfcs everywhere, i went into one, with the family and what i saw, disgusted me. no, it wasn’t the chickens that were food that made me sick, it was what was on the flat screen tv that was in front of us when we were sitting down, there was a chicken fighting match, what an outrage this is! I know it is illegal here, but in other countries, i suppose it ok, ughh, i hope this opened up a little bit of petas eyes to whats going on worldwide, and i have to say thanks so much for the time, and, go vegetarian!

Well if your class stopped at mcdonalds and you were not allowed to leave the group to find a non evil restraunt you could just sit there with an unhappy meal while everybody else ate and people passing might see it and ask questions you might even lose mcdonalds a customer or 2.

The McCruelty campaign has caught my eye since the very beginning. It’s sad to see so many people walk in and walk out of that place with huge bags, filled with the remainder of a tortured animal for them to eat. McDonald’s boasts about the million+ meals they sell daily, knowing their profits rely on an animal that is violently killed only to be eaten. It’s barbaric. With this Unhappy meal, I’ll wear the t-shirt into one of the numerous McDonals around NYC and sit there with my unhappy meal for everyone to see. Change needs to happen. If they have to eat meat, let them be more humane about it. I’ll help PETA in their crusade to make this a better world for both animals and people.

My siblings have grown up eating McDonalds, and its obviously very unhealthy to them and if I could just tell them what they did to the chickens, I’m sure he would stop. They don’t really understand though. Im not sure if the “Unhappy Meal” would scare them or what, but maybe it would teach my family to eat healthy and not McDonalds.

I think this would be a cool idea in starting an animal rights group at my college. Everyone is always too busy going on with their own lives that not many people know the reality of how the chickens are being treated to be served as “food” to us consumers at McDonalds.Everyone needs a little wake up call.I think showing the Unhappy Meal to any customer that walks in a McDonalds would make them think twice about getting chicken nuggets or chicken sandwiches.Might even make them gag a bit.Who knows.Another idea would be to mail this Unhappy Meal along with many signatures to the President of the McDonalds Corporation. How lovely that would be.I think I deserve to win, because it’s about time I should step up and make the right decisions and put one of my ideas into action instead of just sitting here and reading about cold-hearted fools such as Michael Vick.

I first became knew of what being a vegetarian was about when I saw a campaign. My town is fairly small compared to most, and seeing the lady standing there, handing out stickers and other merch – being approved and also laughed at, changed my life more than I knew. I read up on some of the info, checked it out, and learned more about what being a vegetarian and vegan was all about. I knew that this was the right thing to do, and have not eating at McDonalds, any fast food, or any meat since that day four years ago. I haven’t seen that lady around since, but I feel that I have taken her place. Around school and town I can be seen handing stickers and dvds out. I make my own shirts, and have converted some of my close friends too. I feel that this McCruelty set could help me out, and change at least a few more peoples minds. If by converting one person into a vegetarian is all I do, thats one step closer to making the world a better and safer place for all animals – human and nonhuman alike. We are all equals. Plus, if McDonals did this to dogs, people would complain – chickens can play soccer and can organize themselves into teams … why are we depriving the world of such an amazing feat? Anyone who wins this prize will do amazing things with it.

I deserve this prize because I could use it to change the minds of others. I am an incoming freshmen in high school interested in starting an animal activists club. With this “Unhappy Meal” I could show others the cruel world of McDonald’s, dissuade them from eating there, and persuade them to help me in the McCruelty campaign. This prize would really help me to show others the wonderful world of PETA and the fight for animal rights. Just think of what one prize could do.

I loath Mcdonalds. There is 3 in my town and it’s so gross to see all of the seniors in my school eat that stuff.
But the main reason why I hate McDonalds is the last time I was there (about 3 years ago) I was standing in line and infront of me and a mom and her son. The boy had ordered a chicken nugget meal (I was ordering a fruit salade) and then the little boy asked his mom “Mommy how do the chickens get turned into food” (I was dying to hear what she was gonna say) all that came out was “the chickens go to a place and then they get turned into food like magic” all I could thing of was the fact that “magic” involved slaughter and cruelty! Its so wrong to lie to little kids about what they are eating.

I think with this stuff, I will be able to do more and especially with the shirt which i lack. I also have McCruelty stickers on my skateboard car and I ocassionally put them on stop signs ( get it? stop McCruelty ;)

That’s why I have taking charge and don’t eat there anymore. After I had found out about what they did I stopped supporting the killing! I even have gotten my friends to stop going! McDonalds Are Extremly Arrogant. Many McDonalds Workers Don’t Even Know Where & How The Food They’re Serving Was Killed. This Shows An Extreme Lack Of Care. Although They Are Arrogant It Isn’t The Employee’s Of McDonalds That Are To Blame It Is The People Higher Up Who Do Not Deal With The Serving & Preparing. The One’s Who Sit Behind Desk’s Getting Other People To Bring Them What They Need And Ordering The Lower People About. Also The Consumer. That Io Used To Be. They Don’t Care Where Their Chicken McNuggets Come From They Just Care How Fast It Gets There And How Much It Costs. There Is No-One To Blame For The Whole Situation But With Campign And Protest Maybe We Could Make A Difference.

I sponser pets for ASPCA and donate to PETA, but this would truly be a visual way to get out and show people. Instead of just signing online petitions, I could do it in person. I deserve to win because I’m just awesome. Still not convinced? Well, I guess I’ll explain a little more.
I’m always promoting vegetarianism. Always. I leave peta2 stickers in bathrooms. I speak VERY loudly about the torture animals go through whenever I’m walking through the meat section at stores. I’m constantly giving my family/friends crap about what they’re eating when it’s not cruelty-free. I’ve also managed to get a few of my friends to try vegetarianism. (they stuck with it.) And when I worked at Subway, everyone who ordered a veggie sub got a high five and a free cookie. (My boss did not know this.)
Also, my family and I run an animal rescue out of our house. It’s called Hilltop Haven Animal Rescue. (http://www.hilltophavenanimalrescue.com)
I’m sort of working on making a youtube channel where all the videos are of what my family does on a daily basis with the animals, visiting vets, doing house calls for possibly adoptive homes, nursing back to health the sick ones, and giving the forgotten a place to stay.
So, do you think I’m awesome yet?

I would love to win so I can help promote the McCruelty campaign more. I have handed out McCruelty flyers around my neighbourhood but I would love to promote it more. I have actually gone into a McDonald’s right near my house and handed out the flyers to people, told them what they were eating was wrong, and that they should put a stop to McDonald’s cruelty. I think everyone should be informed of what is really going on. I am 100% okay with people who choose to eat meat, that’s their decision, whatever. What I’m not okay with is McDonald’s inhumane and basically just sickening way of treating animals. There are definitely way more humane ways that McDonalds could adopt.
I love informing people about peta2 campaigns, and how they can help make our world a better place. So I was excited to get my McCruelty pack in the mail a couple of months ago.
It would be even more exciting to win, then I could tell even more people about it! Especially since I’m headed back to school soon, there will be a whole new group of people to inform.
    Have a great Friday!

I have been a animal rights activist for 4 years, Ive been a PETA member for 2 years, a ASPCA member for 3, and a PETA2 member for about 1 year. I constantly spread the importance of the issue of animal rights, argueing that the question is not can they talk? Or can they reason? But the question is can they suffer? I have been to multiple farms for chickens, cattle, pigs, etc. And Ive seen the horrors happen right in front of me. I am also an advicate of banning hunting, and banning all types of animal fur from the market. I am a vegitarian and have been for 4years since I realized what I was eating. Ive protested at McDonalds about 5 to 8 times in the last 2 years. I could go on forever with this but Ill end here, all this is why I think I should win a Unhappy Meal!

the food is cheap, and i realize that may be the reason, but there are other cheap, healthier, and more humane places to eat.

Those supplies would be great for a protest.
    It really would.
I mean,I’ve ordered peta2 campaign merch, and me and my friends have done protests in the major city in my state at the mall, and at the local fast food restaurants surrounding it.
I mean,it’s not right to vandalize or anything,I know. But there’s a stall in a bathroom at McDonald’s in our town, and it’s covered in writing and such, and I put some peta2 stickers in there on the walls with all the writing.
And we’ve campaigned outside the place before.
and gone up and pretended to order and asked if the chicken looks realistic, with the broken bones and all,and all bloody, and they just give us stupid looks. But we do that like once a week. And they won’t kick us out because even though it’s bashing the place,I know the owner of the establishment and I mean, even HE doesn’t eat there, and he doesn’t care that I do it. lol
Sometimes we even have had pictures, and the people got so disgusted and set there food back in the container and threw it away. I dunno,I think it could help my little ‘campaigns’ and such that I do. =)

Whenever I’m with friends and they want to go into a mcdonalds, I refuse to so much as enter the building and strongly discourage them from doing so as well. my answer isn’t that original, but i’ll try.
growing up, my family had a moderate income, we weren’t really “poor”, but we weren’t rich, either. at least four days a week, we’d be forced to eat mcdonalds because we didn’t have enough money to go buy groceries. that was what we had to eat.
now, after reading and watching the resources here, i have a much greater knowledge about many fast food restaurants. i think mcdonalds is discusting and i can’t imagine putting their chicken in my body. in the future, no matter how tight money is, i will NEVER feed my kids this crap!

I haven’t eaten in a Mackie D’s since i was around 5. I’m 20 going on 21 now. I’m not saying i haven’t been inside one, just not eaten. I’ve been known, in my old town, to politely hand out leaflets; outside the doors, inside, and even managed to get enough time to put leaflets on every clean tray for customers to see when they sit down :) I was asked to leave a few times, where i would just politely agree and leave, only to return a few days (or even hours later). I managed to get the one by my old house to add a clause that was viewable to all customers, on the menu, that they don’t officially serve anything vegetarian and that they can’t guarantee that their fries were veggie either, as veggie’s assume that maybe they keep those ‘clean’ atleast. The meal is a great idea, and i loved the giveaway’s you did outside the restaurants, but as i live in the UK i wasnt able to see the affect (or pickup a meal :P). It’s a great cause and needs to be put out there in one form or another, so why not be creative, right? keep it up PETA!

I feel that I deserve an unhappy meal to use as a recruiting tool for my friends. Not only do the McDonald’s chicken suppliers torture and abuse animals but I have not eaten McDonalds in four years now because they supports and contributes to the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. Much of the soy-based animal feed used to fatten fast-food chickens is grown in the Amazon. Are those chicken nuggets really worth acres of irreplaceable trees? (Especially considering how important carbon sinks like the rainforest are to halt global warming!) Fast food supports a completely unsustainable system of agriculture. It’s cruel to animals, unhealthy for humans, and bad for the planet.

I think that I should win because I believe that I would make more of my winnings than anyone else. Not only am I a hard-core activist, but I also do not care what others think of me… I have protested numerous causes, publicly or just at my school. Many of the causes involving consumerism cruelity with corporations such as McDonald’s or KFC. I do not care about the concequences, the cause is what matters.
I want to make a difference with my life, either with help from PETA or TOMS Shoes…. But my life will not be wasted. I will help others and make a difference in the world and/or Consumerism.
In my winning of the McCruelity:Unhappy Meal, not only will you be giving me the materials to help make a difference, but also the PUSH to put an impact in people and awaken them to the cruel actions of their favorite restaurants.
If I win, I will make sure McDonald’s hears my voice.

I would love to be a winner of a McCruelty meal. I’ve been trying to get my friends to understand *why* McDonald’s *cough*McCruelty*cough* is bad- how they abuse their animals and how slaughtering is wrong, and they just don’t seem to understand. I bet if I showed them this while wearing the T-Shirt, I’d finally get through to them. Especially if I was like “You want some ketchup with that?” when they looked inside the box, then hold up the fake blood filled ketchup packet. ^^
As for more uses, I’d probably take the “chicken nugget” box and place some pamphlets in it, then, with the help of my already-PETA2-supporting friends, do a protest. I’d have the box closed, with the pamphlets inside and once I caught someone’s attention, open it, showing them the full inside of the box, and then give them a pamphlet. Of course, I’d also be wearing the T-Shirt. :) It would be so fun to protest with the Unhappy Meal. :)

All the ideas the people have before me are amzing and any would be a great “f*uck you” to Mcd’s.
I am a vegan and have sworn off McDonolds. But if I werent and i was to see someone with an “unhappy meal” I would deffintly change my mind about eating there.
keep up everything you guys do peta/peta2 :)

I have been a vegetarian for three years now, and that’s hard to do in a little bumpkin town like mine. We’d go to sports games and I wouldn’t be able to eat until I got home because we have a McDonalds and a Burgerking.
I’ve never cheated on my beliefs and I am a strong protester of McDonalds.
I think this is a really neat idea. I could have a lot of fun with this.
I could wear the tshirt up to Mcdonalds and ask them various questions like
“So, these chicken were scolded alive, right? Oh, oh okay.. ummm what part of the chicken is that used with..? You don’t know? Oh, well I read that it might be more poo then um.. meat. Right. I think I’m going to go eat somewhere elseee.”
and maybe get my friends to let me behind the counter you know.
“Hi, welcome to McCruelty. Would you like your chicken scolded alive or have their throats slit? Side order of poop? No. Alright.” (‘:
Or pass out flyers at the door.
Something to just help, you know?
I’m sick of people eating flesh just because “It tastes good”
    Discusting.

I always make sure to inform my friends, both veggy and non-veggy, about the goings on in the animal world. I am especially disturbed by the way that the chickens are treated in the meat industry. Even my meat eating brother has taken to calling KFC kentucky fried CRUELTY since me and my sister are always going on about it! I think it would be awesome to own one of these shirts so that the next time I have to go to McDonalds with my friends or family, it won’t be a visit they will soon forget!! Not enough people in this world care to speak for those who can’t speak for themselves.

I think having this ‘Unhappy’ meal would be the best silent protest towards McDonalds i’ve ever seen. Since dead animals would definitely NOT make my meal HAPPY..WHATSOEVER..i think just sitting down at McDonalds would most definitely make a statement. And when people walk by and ask “so what are you eating” or “hey..whats that”..i can say “well. this is an unhappy meal. basically its my views of what a so-called happy meal really stands for. I’m sure that dying chickens and cows for our taste buds isn’t very happy to me”. Then i could hand out pamphlets. Or i could sit down at a table maybe in my local mall with the unhappy meal. I would get alot of questions and interested people too.

If i were to have one of these, i’d use it to make people aware of the cruelty that is going on with McDonald’s. At my local McDonald’s, I wouldn’t be afraid to approach people, to ask them if they knew exactly where their food came from and how it got there. I would be able to use this as a tool to make a difference for all the suffering animals.

I have never been a fan of McDonalds. I always knew it was unhealthy, and the meat there was just unlively. I have been a vegetarian for a little over 3 years, and I never respected Fast Food restaurants such as KFC, McDonalds, and Wendy’s. They just are unhealthy for you and usually we know what they do to the poor animals in there.
This is a brilliant idea, spreading the word should shake McDonalds up a bit.
I would deffinitly bring that around with me into their resturants to make them mad :]

I think with all the information that I’ve been putting together recently that promotes anti-animal cruelty this unhappy meal would provide a great way to get the attention of my peers at school, especially with all the fastfood options available at Drexel.

I think I should most definitely win the unhappy meal. I haven’t had McDonalds in over six years which is the same amount of time I’ve been a vegan. I’ve taken steps to inform my school about the horrific details of animal cruelty, to the extent of a debate at my high school on why eating meat is wrong. I got an A on the debate by the way. And had everyone asking questions and I had hard facts and plenty of information to give. I adore animals and think its wrong to mass produce animal meat. I’ve done a lot of the activist ideas on the site, and I’d have fun with that mc cruelty pack and educate more people. So please pick me.

I live in a small town where I get asked every day why am I a vegetarian. Two days ago was the last time I was asked this and when I answered the person looked at me and said, “Honey thats why God put these animals here.” It disgusted me and moreover the person who said that was the manager of McDonalds. So if I could get the Unhappy Meal I would deliver it directly to her. And take many many pictures of it!
And p.s I havent eaten McDonalds in about 10 years.

I have been working next to a Mcdonalds that we share space in for my work for the past year…I have been vegan for four. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t talk to customers about what they are consuming and the negative effects that it is having on not only themselves, but the treatments of the animals most importantly.I’ve been studying Mcdonalds treatment of animals for quite some time now and it’s just as appalling as their wonderful competitors KFC. These companies lack the decency of allowing Vegan options on their menu ( besides KFC in Canada) and better treatment in their slaughterhouses. This is a long battle in a very long war, with this company. They feel immortal because they are a multi-billion dollar company and think they can own the world. But myself and millions of us Veggies will be here to make sure that things WILL change and I’m sticking to my guns and passing out pamphlets right in their doorways and talking to everyone day after day, and I know progress will be made and soon they will be getting a wake up call, NO MORE MCRUELTY!!!!!!!!

I really believe I deserve an “UnHappy Meal”. Where I live, jobs are very slim and they’re getting slimmer. And it turns out the only two people that will hire me, are KFC and Mc Donalds. They both offered, I said no. I Consistantly hand out flyers and pamphlets on how being a vegetarian is healthy for you, the environment, and of course the animals.
I’d love to be able to stash a meat free chicken patty and bring it with me anywhere. I think the kids in my lunch room would be suprised to see me scarfing down a “Mc Chicken Sandwich” with some “ketchup”. It’ll get my point across. And I can do this more than once really. I can do it at my school, at Mc Donalds, at home, with my friends. Harmless fun to get some info out.
That’s why I believe I should revieve a Unhappy Meal.

About to years ago I decided to go vegetarian and was successful for a month until my aunt found out. She didn’t agree with my decision so one day she sat a plate of chicken in front of me and told me I couldn’t get up until I ate it. I sat there for hours and when my aunt realized that I wasn’t going to eat it she told me that if I was going to live in her house I was going to eat whatever she cooked so I left. Of course, I wasn’t allowed to stay away for long. After a few days the police found me and took me back home. Even though when I’m at home (which is not very often considering I have school and extra-curricular activities) I’m forced to eat meat, I feel like I did the right thing in standing up for what I believe in. Animals are my friends and I don’t think it makes sense for anyone to eat their own friends.

AHH! I’ve wanted one of these for forever. :D
Anyway, I haven’t eaten McDonald’s for five years (because of Supersize Me, but hearing about the mistreatment of chickens made it even worse for me)
I’ve printed out my own stickers and handed it out to all of my schoolmates.
I made my whole family boycott McDonalds.
I’ve handed out leaflets to my classmates (it was pretty cool, because I handed them out with little origami chickens. I wrote “Boycott McCruelty” on them :D )
I’ve put up flyers near or on the restaurant (where the workers can’t see them, but others can. ;P )
I’ve explained to all my friends about McCruelty.
I’ve filled my notebooks and binders with McCruelty stickers for others to see.
I have this chicken pen that I use daily and I put a sticker on that as well.
And lastly, I told my brother about it, and he too is handing out leaflets.
I’ve always wanted to hold a protest, but my friends are too shy to do it with me. :'(

I am a vegetarian but if I did eat the chicken or any other meat products from there I would want to know that it wasn’t being tortured. I think that people have an “out of sight, out of mind” way of thinking and if this was seen maybe they would think twice about eating some place that puts the chickens through such cruel deaths.

What I plan on doing if I win the Unhappy meal is setting up a table near the McDonalds that’s by my mall. Lots of people go to the stores surrounding it, so there would be a lot of attention. Me and my cousin are going to be arranging it and we’re going to hand out pamphlets and explain what happens. I love it!!! They would make a fantastic talking point, a great way to start off a convo with people about how evil McD’s really is. Maybe the next time they fancy a big mac, they would see the carton and get a visual flash back of this carton along with the memory of the facts I told them. Might make them think twice.

I have been a vegetarian since I was 6 (about 8 years ago) me and my best friends saw some videos of animals being slaughtered and it really scars you forever. I hate it that people think they can go around and do stuff like this. Its all about money which I hate. While I remained a vegetarian, both my friends quit within a year. Everyone else in my family eats meat and I live in the south where everything is about barbecue-ing meats and there are no vegetarian restaurants in my area, though there are many McDonalds. I travel around the state for soccer and the most commonly seen restaraunts are McDonalds, Burger King, and Bojangles, all of which hardly have any vegetarian options, and my mom doesnt like subway. I’ve been trying to find a way to get these unhappy meals so I can share them with my friends so that maybe they will boycot McCruelty along with me. I especially love the t-shirt, but the whole idea of it makes me so glad that there are such things as Peta.

Sadly, my mom makes it a point not to tell her all the gross stuff that happens to all the animals she eats. She also yells when I try to tell my sister what exactly it is she’s eating. My family goes to McCruelty all the time, and pumps themselves with not only fat and grease, but all that fear and anxiety, not to mention whatever else is floating around in those poor animal’s bodies into themselves.
I refuse to set foot in there; everything smells so greasy and unhealthy.
Of course, I still make snide comments about their dead animals on buns, and how sad I am that people eat them. That’ll usually clear a McDonald’s pretty fast, at least around here.

I was 6 when I went vegetarian, now I am 15. The last thing I ate was a McChicken burger. Now that I take the time to learn exactly where my food comes from before I eat it, I’ve learned that McDonalds’s food is not only unhealthy for humans, but living hell for the chickens. I would love to win that unhappy meal because I am now a vegan and have turned my sister vegan, my best friend vegetarian, and my two other friends vegetarian. I would love to be able to show this to my friends and hopefully change their minds about eating McDonalds.

Heyy! I was on top of the game with the whole KFC business, I can’t even go to dinner parties with my family because I don’t want to even smell their chicken. Mcdonalds is just stupid, and I don’t see the point of slaughtering when veggie burgers and veggie chicken sandwiches have even more protien! It’s dumb. So yeah, I would LOVE to have the mccruelty unhappy meal so I can show my friends and family and wear the tshirt to schooool! I love bragging about being a vegetarian because everyone’s like “i’ve never met a vegetarian before” and I’m like “i’m special.” I love peta2 and I’ve enver won anyting before so it’d be pretty spiffy if I did. xD Thanks yo.(:

I’ve mentioned to people that they shouldn’t eat at McDonald’s because they abuse the chickens but they don’t understand that the chicken they are eating is gonna make them not themselves. So, in regards, McDonald’s needs to stop running all over the US. And I’ll probably never eat there again as long as I live.

Well, I can’t think of a very good reason why I should win– other than it would be something that would probably catch the interest of my husband– who likes McDonald’s and might speak louder than my nagging words :P Awesome idea, by the way!

I would totally take that stuff into McDonalds with some of my friends and we would act as if the “chicken McNuggets” were all bloody and stuff! We would also prob tell everyone around us what they are actually eatting and how a chicken became their McChicken =D After my friends and I got out of there I’m sure not many people in my town would want to eat at McDonalds anymore…I know I never actually want to.

I haven’t eaten McDonald’s food since 6th grade, which was 5 years ago. When I got the McCruelty campaign a few months ago in the mail, I handed out numerous stickers to my friends and people I don’t know. Whenever my dad decides to stop in McDonald’s (which I always advise against), I comment on the smell of rotting corpses in there and make it heard. It may be rude, but they deserve it for all the descipable things that corporation stands for.
