No one rocks harder than a peta2 Street Teamer, so we think it’s time to highlight the awesome work you all have been up to! Special tip of the hat to these awesome Street Teamers this week:
Rock star for animals Alyssa organized her very own protest against Chick-fil-A this week! Here’s how she said her protest went:
“We talked to a lot of people. There were many people who were interested, and there were those that weren’t. FUN, FUN, FUN, THOUGH! A lady even stopped and talked to us. She was happy that we were out there—she was vegan!”
Woo! Alyssa ordered her free materials from us, and you can do the same! Just shoot us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know about the kind of protest you’re planning. Jump! Jump! Jump! Not only a cool song, it was also what John and his pals were doing after taking part in a Paid-Per-View challenge at the College of DuPage. They offered to pay people a buck to get through a video on factory farming—oh, and they helped tons of animals in the process! Freaking rad job, John!
Last but not least, check out how Rachel’s monthly McCruelty protest went! Kids showed up to speak out against how McDonald’s treats chickens. Even Nugget made an appearance! If you live in the L.A. area, hit up Rachel at RachelS@peta2.com for deets on her next protest!
