Lady Gaga's Meat Dress
Posted September 13, 2010 by peta2 staff
I’m sure if you caught the VMAs last night (or even if you didn’t), you’ve probably already seen Lady Gaga’s outrageous (and putrid) “meat dress” that she wore during her Video of the Year Award acceptance speech.
I understand that Gaga’s all about shock factor, but if she really wants to shock people (especially with the truth), instead of wearing meat, she should inform people about what meat really is—decomposing flesh of an abused animal who didn’t want to die.
I’m not the only person who wondered about Gaga’s latest costume choice. Ellen DeGeneres, who’s vegan herself, presented Gaga with a veggie bikini and suggested she sport it next time she decides to make a fashion statement. Thanks, Ellen!
