Oh my goodness, look at what we found today at altpress.com:
WHAT IF I WOULD EAT MY DOG? THEN WHAT?
S.T.U.N. drummer Bobby Alt is not only known for his wicked drumming skills’Äîthe dude is also a vegan, and hella proud. Alt has teamed up with PETA2 for their new campaign’Äî”Would You Eat Your Dog? Then Why Eat A Cow?” Obviously, this campaign won’Äôt be launching in eastern Asia any time soon. To learn more about the whole shebang, as well as enter contests to win swag from PETA-friendly bands the Used and S.T.U.N., go to PETA2.com.
Gerard and Mikey from My Chemical Romance have joined forces with peta2.com to inform students that it’s easier than ever to stand up to the administrators at their schools and cut out dissection. Don’t you think cutting up dead animals is just plain gross? We do too. Click here for Gerard and Mikey’s two cents.
Tomorrow, October 2, is World Farmed Animal Day. Activists across the globe will be holding Kentucky Fried Cruelty demonstrations, passing out vegetarian starter kits, and spreading the message that animals are not ours to eat. Here in Norfolk, PETA will be holding a hometown KFC demo. What will you be doing? Comment and let us know!

Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I love animals about as much as rock, heavy metal, tea, and coffee. Hoping to make a difference and help animals through PETA!!!
I'm tall, a geek, nacho - obsessed, I love sewing and Cath Kidston, also I'm vegetarian (wannabe vegan.)
Well let's just say life ain't always beautiful but it's a beautiful ride. I love all my pets and would do anything for them. I have one dog, two cats, a ferret and my babygirl shaymin,(the cutest hedgehog alive) I'm into all different kinds of music. I'm a singer myself and love art.
I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
I am Angela. When I am not helping animals I am listening to music, reading, or playing video games. My spirit animal is a fox and I love nature. What else is there to know? Want to know anything about me, need advice or anything message me :)

I didn’t know it was World Farmed Animals Day until the day before it happened.. and my day was completely booked by then, so I couldn’t do anything -specifically-. I did bring along a whole pad of stickers and tagged packages of chicken at the market (“Meat’s No Treat For Those You Eat” sticker). And I finally convinced my lovely mother to try a BK Veggie, telling her what day it was. She absolutely loved it

I’m glad this finally works!
For World Farmed Animals Day, we protested at KFC – so it wasn’t just people “across the country”, it was people across the world :-p Plus, a vegan chocolate company sent us a massive bag of FREE vegan chocolate, and we handed those out to people who changed their minds about KFC after reading the leaflets! Whoo!
