Still No Justice for PLRS Animals

More than six months after PETA released documentation of the horrors at animal testing hellhole Professional Laboratory and Research Services, Inc. (PLRS)—evidence so shocking that within a week the laboratory had released its dogs and cats to rescue groups up and down the East Coast and shut its doors in shame—the abusers still have not been brought to justice. PETA first met with the local district attorney nearly a year ago and showed him graphic footage of PLRS employees screaming profanities at animals, flinging cats into cages, and kicking, throwing, and dragging dogs. And still no cruelty-to-animals charges.

What will it take to make the government bring charges against these abusers? Maybe a few thousand e-mails from peta2 blog readers will do the trick. Please take moment to speak up for these animals by sending a polite e-mail to the district attorney asking him to prosecute the PLRS workers and seek justice for all the animals who suffered at their hands.

Just keepin’ it real,
Sunny

It ceases to amaze mew at how cruel some people are. These are just innocent animals that did not ask to be mistreated or killed. Shame on the people for doing it but also shame on the people that can prosecute them and chose not to. What is wrong with them?? If it was a person abusing a defensless child, or elderly person something would have been done quickly. These animals may not be able to speak but they have families and feelings just like us. I pray that the prosecutor will finally bring these abusers to justice. It has to stop and they have the resources and ability to stop it one case at a time. It saddens me so

I can’t understand or even try to figure out why no charges are brought against these abusers. Why isn’t it that ALL abusers are violent and cruel, and have charges filed against them? Animals do not count for much with our government…allowing so many horrible acts to go “un-noticed.” They probably own quite a bit of the company’s stock and don’t want the company to go out of business. Proctor & Gamble are one of the worst…still putting animals thru hell in tiny cages, being burned, electricuted, cut, etc. without any pain killers. Starting with kittens, puppies, bunnies, the list goes on and on. P&G has many companys-Dawn detergent for example. They claim they can help save the birds that have been covered with oil from the sea by scrubbing them in little bathtubs, using Dawn detergent, getting these birds all cleaned up. Well, what they don’t tell you is that they will cut, burn, and/or scratch an animal, then apply Dawn detergent to see what kind of reaction they get. The bunnies they use to see what kind of reaction they get when the detergent is sprayed into their eyes. The bunnies are standing upright, tied/changed so they can’t move, with their eyes pried open and cannot close. How are these treatments allowed? I stay away from EVERY product any company that P&G owns, operates, or uses. The list of products has a long list of many products consumers use. Tide is a big one, Cascade, Always, Old Spice, Pantene, to name a few. I can’t bear to think of what happens to these poor innocent animals. If congress hears our voice, perhaps things can change. Please leave a comment. Ask your friend to post a comment. Let’s get this done.

These “people” need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law and then some! I hate to say it but no matter what is done to them, it will never be enough to make up for the horrendous pain, torture and debilitating fear these poor animals had to endure. If this horror is ignored, if nothing is done, then more and more “people” will continue this practice knowing that they have nothing to fear. We must send a message that this WILL NOT

Animal abusers should be treated the way they treat animals. Prosecute the PLRS workers!

The least you could do to rectify the situation is prosecute the PLRS workers to the fullest extent of the law. Even though that will never change the horrific pain and suffering of the animals in their facility, at least it will bring the slightest bit of justice in their names! Thank you for your time and consideration.

I am very happy that the doors were closed at Professional Laboratory and Research Services, Inc. I am saddened that no charges have been brought against the perpetrators who severely abused these animals. Please, please prosecute the PLRS workers, who knowingly committed such cruel and heinous acts. We can never hope for this kind of behavior to end until the powers that be crack down and prosecute these kind of criminals to the fullest extent of the law. Justice for these innocent animals who suffered at these workers’ hands needs to be sought. Thank you.
