Dyeing animals has been against the law in Florida for 45 years—and with good reason—but a bill passed in the Florida legislature would repeal this ban.
If this legislation passes, pet stores would be able to take advantage of it (for example, by dyeing ducklings, bunnies, and chicks around Easter) to lure kids and parents into buying animals on a whim.

The bill has now been turned over to Gov. Rick Scott to sign, and we need your help! Please encourage Gov. Scott to veto this careless bill for the good of animals and for all Florida citizens!
