Actor and Singer Rachel Crow: Hero for Dogs

Posted by  peta2 staff ,

Rachel Crow is a peta2 triple threat. She can act, she can sing, and she has tons of love and compassion for animals. “Everyone deserves a chance,” Rachel states, posing alongside Pixel (the cutest dog ever!) in her first peta2 ad. Rachel is an active advocate for adoption, as she herself was adopted and so are all her family’s animal companions!

Animal shelters are overflowing with dogs and cats looking for happy homes. Every year, 6 to 8 million unwanted animals enter shelters in the U.S. and half must be euthanized because there simply aren’t enough good homes for them.

Want to do your part to help end animal homelessness? It’s as easy as one, two, three:

  1. Always adopt and never, ever buy. Animals from shelters are the best!
  2. Make sure your cats and dogs are spayed or neutered. Fact: Just one female cat and her kittens can lead to the births of 370,000 cats in seven years, and one female dog and her puppies can result in the births of 67,000 dogs in six years.
  3. Spread the word!
