Tiny Masters of Today
What would you say if I told you that, when I was a young teenager, I had collaborations with the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Kimya Dawson under my belt, David Bowie had referred to my first single as “genius,” and I had received amazing press in Spin, Newsweek, and NME? Unfortunately, I can’t claim any of this, but this is what life has been like for the Tiny Masters of Today.
Drawing on influences such as the Ramones, The Clash, Nirvana, and the Sex Pistols, preteen siblings Ivan and Ada are taking the indie circuit by storm with their distorted guitars, punk attitude, and youthful energy. We were able to catch up with Ivan and Ada while they were in Austin for the ultra-hip SXSW festival, and we got their opinions on important issues such as animal adoption, dissection, and product testing on animals. Not only is this sibling duo talented, original, and fun, they’re also animal-friendly!
Here are Ivan and Ada in their own words:
Like what you heard? Trust me, that won’t be the last you hear from the Tiny Masters of Today. They’ve already taken over the music media and the airwaves, so they’re likely to take over a venue near you soon. Keep your eyes on their Facebook page for upcoming tour dates, and don’t forget to sign our pledge refusing to purchase products from corporations that abuse animals. Just like Ivan and Ada say: “Animal testing breaks hearts!“
