Nothing looks better than compassion—and the world is taking notice! Last week, Vaute Couture was the first all-vegan fashion label to show at New York Fashion Week, sending the message that being kind to animals is a trend that can’t be ignored. And the clothes were not the only things stealing the show—dogs available for adoption rocked the runway with the models, and the show was catered by a vegan bakery. Clothes, dogs, cute guys, AND vegan food? It just doesn’t get any better than that!
The talented designer, Leanne Mai-ly Hilgart, has been speaking up for animals for quite some time now. She did an elementary school project on factory farming and the fur industry when she was only 10 years old. She became vegan at 17 and even campaigned to cut out dissection in her science class (remind you of anyone?)! Now Leanne is showing people that they can be fashionable and help animals at the same time.

I'm vegetarian, I love coffee, and wish for happiness. I have a music project, Sailing With Stars, and if I could label it by genres i'd probably say, Indie/Anti-Folk/Acoustic? does that sound right? I think so :s but yeah here's a link if you want to go check it out :) https://www.facebook.com/SailingWithStars
