Mission: Use This Egg Leaflet to Help Give Hens a Fulfilling Life

Could you live comfortably if you were squished into a tiny cage with five to 11 others? 😨 If not, valid. ✔️ Neither can hens, yet that’s how the egg industry forces them to live before sending them to slaughter. 😢 Help give hens the fulfilling lives they deserve by using our egg leaflets to influence consumers never to buy eggs!

Around the world, approximately 5 billion hens are confined to cramped cages and all their eggs are stolen from them. 😱🐔 Many of them are held in production complexes with 1 million or more birds at once. On average, the egg industry gives each hen only 67 square inches of space—that’s smaller than a single sheet of letter-size paper. 😰 Talk about uncomfy.

Hens deserve the opportunity to care for their chicks and enjoy dust-bathing, making nests, and forming relationships with others. 🥰 But as long as consumers keep buying eggs, the industry is gonna keep making hens’ lives miserable for profit. 😡 To help give these chickens the lives they deserve, we need to show people exactly how they’re suffering.
