We recently teamed up with young animal rights icon Genesis Butler to launch our “Cut Out Dissection” webpage. 🙌🐸🐱🐷 Wish you never had to worry that your school might want you to cut apart a dead animal? Then share this video to have your followers consider why it’s important to hype humane dissection lessons. 💞

What’s the Problem?

More than 10 million frogs, rats, cats, fetal pigs, and other animals are used for dissection in U.S. classrooms every year. 😰 These animals may have been stolen from their homes in nature, bred in a warehouse, or cut from their mother’s womb in a slaughterhouse. Animals can feel pain and suffer just like us—so cutting them open in science class is completely cruel. 😢

Plus, animal dissection is pointless af. There are high-tech digital dissection programs, synthetic models, and even augmented reality tools that are better teaching methods than animal dissection. 💁 Studies have shown that after being forced to dissect an animal, students interested in science sometimes lose that curiosity. ☹️ Animal dissection just sucks for everyone.
