Mission: Snakes’ Mouths Sewn Shut for a Photo Booth—Help End This!

How can a snake-slaughtering event possibly get worse? Look at the Mangum Rattlesnake Derby in Oklahoma for the answer: In 2025, a photo booth exhibitor sewed live rattlesnakes’ mouths shut so people could take pics with them!

This next-level cruelty—which seems to be done without using any painkillers—makes it impossible for the snakes to properly hydrate. 😰 Rattlesnakes are shy animals who would much rather avoid humans completely. Exploiting them for photo ops and then killing them is as messed up as it gets. And nothing will change if we stay silent.
