Mission: Gross People Out of Eating Meat With This Sh*tty Fact 💩

The number one reason you shouldn’t eat animals is that they have thoughts, feelings, and relationships and don’t deserve to suffer for our food. The number two reason is because you probably don’t wanna eat poop, right??

That’s right—most retail meat contains poop. 🤮 How tf is this possible? Well, the explanation is as gross as you might think (make sure you aren’t eating anything rn). In the U.S., 99% of animals exploited for food are crammed into crowded sheds and cages on massive factory farms, and they’re painfully slaughtered one after another. When their guts are ripped open, poop and other stuff from their intestines spill out onto their flesh.

Cows, pigs, and other animals don’t deserve this sh*t. And we’re guessing you don’t want their sh*t in your food. The poop in meat can have dangerous diseases and pathogens like listeria, E. coli, salmonella, and staph, which can cause bloody diarrhea, vomiting, and possibly a painful death. 😧 The good news is you can avoid all this by eating vegan—it’s the best way to help save animals from living and dying in misery and keep poop off your plate. 😅
