Mission: Goats and Sheep Suffer for Quince Clothing—Help Them!
Quince is using misleading language—again!
The lifestyle brand is marketing cashmere and sheepskin products with misleading claims that they’re “ethical.” Here’s a sneak peek of what the cashmere process looks like—a process that brands other than Quince have claimed is “responsible”. Does anything about this seem “ethical” or “responsible” to you?
Investigations into cashmere and sheepskin operations similar to those that supply Quince have shown goats being…
- pinned down as workers rip out their hair with sharp metal combs
- hit on the head with hammers

…and sheep and lambs having their…
- tails cut off without pain relief
- throats slit while still conscious

When goats and sheep are no longer seen as profitable, they’re typically slaughtered.
In 2023, Quince took misleading language off of their marketing materials, but now they’ve added back additional misleading language. This is NOT okay.
