Show Betty the Elephant Some ♥ This Valentine’s Day

Whether it’s with a family member, best friend, or significant other, chances are you’re planning to spend time with someone you love this Valentine’s Day. ❤️ But humans aren’t the only animals with the capacity to feel love. Many species—including elephants—form strong, lasting social bonds with their family members.

Imagine being kidnapped and never being able to communicate with the people you love again. 😔 That nightmare is what happened to Betty the elephant, who was torn away from her home and family in Thailand over five decades ago. She has been exploited for human entertainment ever since—forced to perform confusing and often painful circus tricks and denied everything that’s natural and important to her.

Show Betty Some ♥ This Valentine’s Day

Make Betty your valentine by mailing Carden Circus a card urging it to retire her to a real sanctuary, where she could have some semblance of a natural life free from forced performances.
