Why We’re Pressing Pause on Our Domino’s Campaign (For Now)
Domino’s is entering a new era. The pizza giant is doing its first brand refresh in 10+ years and says it’s modernizing its image, so we’re pressing pause on our “Vegan Cheese, Please!” campaign and giving Domino’s the chance to truly modernize: By adding dairy-free cheese to its U.S. menu!
PETA sent a message straight to Domino’s —along with a huge pizza box stuffed with 45,000 signatures from customers who want cow-friendly cheese.

Our “Vegan Cheese, Please!” campaign blew up in 2025. We partnered with celebs like rock icon Joan Jett and Emmy Award–winning food author Tabitha Brown, and called out Domino’s through letters, social media videos, and billboards across the country. The verdict is clear: pizza lovers knead vegan cheese.

While dairy-based cheese comes from cows who were torn away from their babies and eventually slaughtered, vegan cheese comes from delicious, compassionate sources like nuts, oats, and soy. Plus, vegan cheese is better for your health and the environment. It’s a W for everybody, which is why we’re giving Domino’s the space to upgrade its U.S. menu for the dairy-free squad!
