Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

  • Pinch of salt

  • Pinch of pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F 
  • Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  • In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, red chili pepper flakes, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place the chickpeas in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket every 5 minutes, until the chickpeas are crispy and golden brown.
  • Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
  • Enjoy your spicy, crunchy chickpeas! They make a great snack or salad topper.
