Going to a Rave? Plan an Animal-Friendly Fit!
EDM festivals and raves are all about good energy, so the last thing you want to do is kill the vibe by wearing dead animals. Thankfully, animal-friendly festival fashion is popping harder than ever. 🙌

Here are the vegan rave fit essentials for your next EDM experience:
vegan pashmina shawls
You might’ve seen pashmina shawls if you’ve been to a festival recently. Pull off the look without harming goats for their cashmere or silkworms for their silk by choosing pashmina made from vegan materials like viscose and polyester (watch out for labels that say “100% pashmina”—those are made from cashmere and oftentimes silk!)

fishnets and leg wraps
Fishnets and leg wraps are festival staples and almost always vegan. They layer perfectly under shorts or skirts for an edgy, breathable vibe that keeps you cool in the crowd.

headwear
SpiritHoods’ faux fur hats, bucket hats, and beanies are made from faux fur AND come in sweet animal designs like green leopard, pink cheetah, and shark. (Don’t forget to complete your headwear with some fun sunglasses.)

crop tops and bralettes
Nothing says rave-ready like a bold crop top or bralette. Most are made from cotton or other vegan materials, but still keep your eye out for silk or wool. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

leg warmers
Once you know that minks, foxes, and other furry animals are killed by electrocution, gassing, or neck-breaking on fur factory farms, anything made with fur is an instant ick. 🙅♀️ Instead, rock faux fur leg warmers for an animal-friendly retro look.

kandi
Kandi trading = peak rave culture. Make your own animal designs with beads and elastic (both animal-friendly)—and don’t forget the PLUR handshake.

light-up accessories
Glowing fans and jewelry bring the party to life—but opt for rechargeable, sustainably made gear. Single-use glow sticks can end up in landfills and choke, trap, or poison animals.

faux fur tails
Raccoons shouldn’t be killed for a rave accessory. Flash a faux fur tail for a raccoon-friendly rave. 🦝🕺

boots and platforms
Vegan leather boots and platforms are stylish, durable, and made for dancing all night. Plus, they help save animals from being bloodied, burned, and beaten in the animal skin industry.

face gems
Shimmering under the lights is a must, and Half Magic has the goods. This iconic brand doesn’t test on animals, so you have the go-ahead to grab its affordable gems.

bandanas
Bandanas are great for outdoor festivals and crowded pits, and you can get this one for free! Join our Rewards Program to earn points by helping animals and then redeem those points for our ‘be kind to every kind’ bandana.

hats and headbands
Thought that was the only free item on this list? Think again 🤑: You can also redeem your Rewards Program points for a ‘speciesism sucks’ bucket hat and a ‘cute and cruelty-free’ facial headband.

vegan feathers
Deck out your earrings, skirt, or top with synthetic feathers to complete your look and help save birds from being painfully plucked and killed for their feathers. 😎 Vegan feathers for the win-win.
see-through fanny packs and hydropacks
You’ll need a hands-free bag to easily access your essentials during the rave. Stash your kandi, vegan snacks, and cruelty-free sunscreen in a see-through fanny pack made from animal-free materials—and stay hydrated with a hydropack.
