Why was Real Housewives of New York City star Bethenny Frankel naked atop a skyscraper in the middle of New York City? She was posing for a peta2 ad, of course! Bethenny is the latest celeb to take part in peta2’s anti-fur campaign.

Celebrity photographer Joseph Cultice shot Bethenny’s “Fur? I’d Rather Go Naked” ad on location atop The Ludlow—the high-rise luxury apartment building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side.

A reformed fur-wearer, Bethenny says that attending a cocktail party at Fendi on Fifth Avenue changed her life. The socialite told us that when she left the party and was met by protesters with a skinned animal, she felt disgusting, and she has been anti-fur ever since. Find out what else Bethenny had to say during her peta2 photo shoot.

Natural food chef, author, and soon-to-be-star of her own docu-series for Bravo, Bethenny decided to bare her skin to draw attention to the cruelty involved in the fashion industry after learning the truth about what happens to animals.

Millions of chinchillas, rabbits, foxes, minks, dogs, cats, and other animals are anally electrocuted, bludgeoned, stomped to death, or have their necks broken for their fur each year. Many are often skinned alive.
