Did you know that tobacco companies still poison, mutilate, and kill animals in tests for cigarettes?
Yep, you heard right. In 2012, countless (they literally don’t even count them!) mice and rats are forced to inhale smoke and have tar rubbed into their skin, and then they are dissected for flavor additives and tobacco ingredients—even though we’ve known for decades that cigarettes kill.
Humans choose to smoke. But, animals don’t have that choice, so peta2 is asking you to raise your voice this summer and urge the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to ban all tests on animals for cigarettes and tobacco products.
Going to Warped Tour? Be sure to stop by the peta2 tent to tell the FDA that animals don’t smoke by signing our petition!
