The news that McDonald’s in Norway is offering a veggie burger is exciting enough, but the name of the new menu addition is so adorable that I have the sudden urge to hop an international flight just to try it! I present to you: the Veggie McSpice.

All you need to do to make the sandwich vegan is ask for it without cheese.

To American vegans, the thought of any McDonald’s having vegetarian—much less vegan—food on its menu seems unreal, but Norway isn’t even the first place where Mickey D’s is offering plant-based options. The company was already selling vegan food in Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, and other veggie-loving countries.

WTF! Meanwhile, back here in the States, the fast-food chain should definitely be avoided at any cost. The company has gone so far as to desecrate the most essential typically vegan food—the French fry—by adding BEEF FAT to it. Yes, you read that right. The fries at U.S. McDonald’s locations aren’t even vegetarian.

Will McDonald’s U.S. restaurants finally get with the times like Taco Bell, Chipotle, and Johnny Rockets have? Send the company a quick, polite note to let it know that you’d love to see vegan items on U.S. menus.
