You know her as Madison on the hit ABC Family TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager …. Now’s your chance to go behind the scenes with Renee Olstead. Turns out, Renee really loves animals and is passionate about the same things we here at peta2 are, like alternatives to dissection, adopting animals, and not eating anything with a face!
In addition to landing roles in the CBS sitcom Still Standing and the 2004 comedy 13 Going On 30, did you know that Renee is also an accomplished jazz singer? At only 15 she released her debut album on Warner Brothers Records with the help of legendary composer David Foster. It’s safe to say that anyone as talented and compassionate as Renee is going nowhere but up! Check out her interview with peta2 as she talks about her adorable rescued dog, Ella Fitzgerald, why she stopped eating animals, and ways you can help.
