Veggie Cutie Fruity Sushi

Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 (10-ounce) tub Ricemellow Crème (or an accidentally vegan marshmallow ice cream topping)
  • 3 Tbsp.  vegan margarine
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. agave nectar (optional)
  • 1/2 box Fruit by the Foot
  •  Swedish Fish
  •  Fresh fruit of your choice (I used kiwi, starfruit, and blackberries)

Instructions

  1. You’ll start by melting the vegan margarine in a pan, and then adding the marshmallow crème, vanilla extract, and agave nectar.
  2. Once it’s all melting and mixing together, gradually add the Rice Krispies, and stir frequently over low heat (to prevent burning or injury to Snap, Crackle, and Pop). Once it’s all gooey, just place the mixture into a greased pan, and let it cool.
  3. Once cooled, you can cut the treats up into rectangles, and begin wrapping them in Fruit by the Foot, topping them with the fresh fruit, or simply go wild wrapping it all up with the fruit inside.
