Yung Gravy x peta2: All In for Shelter Dogs!

You know him as Yung Gravy—but his dog, Hendrix, knows him as the human who rescued him and changed his life forever. 🤗 Check out our ad with Yung Gravy hyping adopting animals!

In the ad, Yung Gravy tells the story of a fictional dog named Maverick who was brought to an animal shelter after being “abandoned to fend for himself on the streets”. He watched his friends get adopted and got sadder as the days went on, until a kind human visited the shelter and chose to make Maverick his new BFF.

This heartwarming story hits home for Yung Gravy and Hendrix—the rapper decided to adopt Hendrix after finding him abandoned in a dumpster. All companion animals want loving guardians like Hendrix does, so if you’re ready to add a member to your family, take Yung Gravy’s advice: “Always adopt”.

how does adopting make a difference?

When you buy an animal, a homeless animal in a shelter misses out on a chance to be part of a family. Then, another animal is bred to take their place. On the other hand, when you adopt an animal, no one is incentivized to breed another. Adopting helps reduce the number of homeless animals, while buying pushes that number higher.

And remember—if you see an animal in need, whether abandoned, injured, or being hurt by someone else, take action to help.
