what’s the problem?

Earth signs love feeling comfortable in their surroundings, but there’s nothing comfortable about a community that’s littered with trash that could harm animals. Think about how frustrating and straight-up scary it would be to live in a home polluted with others’ trash. You didn’t create the mess, but you’re stuck there among more and more garbage that could seriously harm you and your fam. 😢

This is the reality for many squirrels, rabbits, birds, and other small animals in our communities. Their homes can get cluttered with cans, bottles, plastic bags, packaging, and other garbage that we produce. Besides being rude af toward these animals, littering threatens their lives—what if they choked on or were to get trapped in a piece of trash and die painfully in front of their horrified loved ones? 😰

If you don’t want animals to go through this nightmarish experience, picking up trash in your community is one of the easiest ways to help. You can make a massive difference just by walking around your neighborhood with a friend and putting any litter you see in a trash bag.
