A kind family found him and gave him the loving home he deserves. ❤️ Made as a collab with the creative agency Dream Farm Studios, this ad—perfect for sharing—tells Toby’s beautiful story through charming animation.
The thing is, Toby’s the lucky one. About 300 million turkeys are used for food every year in the U.S. 😰
They’ll never get to experience fresh air, sunshine, or true freedom like Toby. And with the holidays right around the corner, lots of turkeys are threatened rn.
Why Share Toby’s Story?
Real turkeys don’t deserve to have their lives stolen from them for a holiday meal that could easily be made vegan. We can save countless turkeys by refusing to buy their flesh, even if it comes with a “humane” label. Some former workers at Plainville Farms, a turkey supplier that dubs itself “humane,” were charged with over 140 counts of cruelty to animals following a PETA investigation that showed that the workers’ treatment of turkeys was anything but humane. 😡
You can help put an end to this kind of mistreatment. Toby the turkey’s message is crystal clear: Make your holidays vegan. When we get others to really think about who they’d be eating—like Toby if he hadn’t caught a lucky break—they’ll be way more likely to choose compassionate holiday food options.
