Get LOUD: Tell Your Friends Why You're Vegan

Posted by  Rachelle Owen

So, you’re nommin’ on peta2’s recipes on the daily and spreading the word online about how f#cked up factory farms are … but do all your friends know why you’ve decided to ditch animal products? Being loud and proud is one of the best things that we can do for animals—and it’s key to remember that we want people to ask why we’re vegan!

Why would you wanna deal with all those “annoying” questions? Well, because you want people to know the answers, of course! And that’s the only way to get more people to go vegan and save animals (each person who goes vegan saves more than 100 animals every single year).

Whether it’s because you don’t want baby chicks to be ground up alive …

Or because you know that forcibly impregnating female cows and then dragging their babies away is wrong …

Tell your friends to ask you why you’re vegan! Here’s how:

  • Grab a blank piece of paper and write “Ask me why I’m vegan!” on it.
  • Snap a selfie with your sign (I know you know how to do this!):

  • Use it as your profile photo on Facebook, or share it on Twitter, Tumblr, or Instagram.
