Stop the NFL from Bashing Animals’ Skulls

If we told you that someone is bashing in the heads of animals to inflict brain damage, you’d probably be pretty pissed off, right? I mean, WHO would do something so horrific and cruel to animals?!

Answer: the National Football League (NFL) Foundation

nfl animal testing

For years, the NFL Foundation has quietly funded deadly sports-injury experiments (which are crudely designed to recreate injuries sustained on the football field) on dogs, mice, rats, and other animals, including experiments like THIS:

These experiments, many of which are ongoing, include:

  • Inflicting severe knee injuries on dogs, after which the animals are killed and have their legs cut off
  • Repeatedly slamming heavy weights into rats’ heads to create brain and spinal cord injuries and skull fractures
  • Cutting open the heads of mice and delivering crushing blows to cause traumatic brain injuries

Many animals have even died during the studies because of the severe injuries that they sustained.

Studies show that experiments like these do NOT accurately replicate the complex injuries sustained by football players, and data and treatments derived from brain injury experiments on animals have repeatedly failed to help human patients.

Tell the NFL that this is NOT OK by sharing the below image on the league’s Facebook page. Be sure to include a polite message asking officials to STOP funding cruel experiments on animals and instead support more humane, non-animal methods that use human tissues and research with current and former NFL players.

OMG are you kidding me. Who the hell approved this cruelty for football. This is totally sick and should stop at once. Let the owners and coaches stick their heads under a piston and see how it feels. Animals don’t t need to go through this bullshit.

You’ll have to save the pic to your computer first and then share it on the NFL’s timeline. :) Then, be sure to submit the screenshot for points by clicking the “Get Points” tab above. :)

Animals should not be regarded as beings that have no feelings. Football is an aggressive sport.Once Joe Namath told me(at a party at M.S.U) that he could not believe everyone was cheering while they were getting their heads bashed, in but he said he did it for the money. Now the NFL is torturing innocent animals & bashing their heads in.Watch the video called UNNECESSARY FUSS on YOUTUBE.com
