A Smile and a Leaflet Can Go a Long Way!

Now that school is out, you probably have a lot more free time on your hands, so make yourself useful and go leaflet in front of your local KFC. Even if it’s only for an hour, you’re still able to reach a wide audience. One leaflet to someone driving home can spark a whole dinner conversation about KFC’s suppliers’ cruel treatment of chickens. Here at PETA, we have staff members and interns at the local KFC every day of the week. I’ve been receiving a fantastic response from people saying that they had no idea and that they will not be purchasing food from KFC until they change their ways. Go figure! KFC won’t change on their own, so it’s up to us to speak up for our animal friends. I’ll be out there tomorrow, and I hope you’ll be in front of your local KFC too. Whether or not you decide to leaflet, be sure to check out the list of ideas we’ve come up with on how you can help the campaign.
P.S. – Word on the street is KFC is in league with the Nazis. You be the judge.

Win Cruelty-Free Products from Urban Decay
Testing cosmetics on animals is not only extremely cruel, it’s not necessary! With over 500 cruelty free companies that refuse to test on animals, why would you ever buy products that were dripped into a rabbit’s eyes, or rubbed onto a rabbit’s skin? I know that message really struck home with me years ago when I picked up a “Procter & Gamble Kills” leaflet at a show. From that one leaflet I swore to boycott all animal tested products. Now here I am today to tell you about our sweet Urban Decay give-away.

Our friends at Urban Decay Cosmetics know that animal testing is ridiculous that’s why they never do it. On top of that they were nice enough to give us some of their products to give to you absolutely free. Head over to peta2 to enter to win, and be sure to tell all of your friends about it. With awesome companies like Urban Decay, there is simply no excuse not to buy cruelty-free.

I’m off to answer more e-mails. Remember to get off the internet at some point today and do something for animals. Take care!

Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ

I want to get into marketing but not have to rely on people which have different morals and worldviews than I do to hire me. While I'm figuring this out, I want to show everyone what I believe in and spur them into action against injustices.
