Hey it’s Pulin here checking in fresh off a quick outing with the Animal Liberation Project. The trip was to Washington, DC where we reached lots of students, sparked tons of discussion, and made some new friends with student and local activists.
One of the highlights for me was being able to stand in front of a philosophy class and ask them to ponder this question: “If I were to hand each of you a knife to slice an animal’s throat open every time you eat, would you do it?” Obviously the point is that if we know that we couldnt do it ourselves, why pay someone else to do it? It’s like hiring a hit man to do your dirty work? Fuggedaboutit!
We’ve got our local Kentucky Fried Cruelty protest tomorrow so I’m looking forward to that. It’s part of that First Saturday program that some of you probably know about. It’s a good idea so you should check it out to get involved wherever you are. The one here in Norfolk, VA always gets lots of local people, plus PETA staffers and interns out there. You should come intern so we can protest together. That would be swell.
My roommate is away for the weekend at Helping Animals 101 in Houston. If you live in the East Texas area you should definitely go! I think I’m going to bake some brownies and listen to lots of Circa Survive. It’s going to be nice!
In other news, Jason Bayless has been sitting right across from me all day hard at work on his movie, Wake Up Screaming. I caught a peek at the trailer and it’s amazing. I can’t wait to go see it! Speaking of Jason, did you know he loves all things rollercoaster-related?
True or false: deep-fried vegan doughnuts and rollercoasters rule?

Father loves to farm, be self sustainable, loves to read, he's a antiques/vintage auctioneer, art student, and looks like mr. Rogers. My mother is a Montessori teacher and is amazing with children, all about local organic foods, loves gardening, cooking etc. my sister who is nine years older than me was into indie music and introduced me to all sorts of things at a young age. This all rubbed of on me and from that base I grew into similar things. I'm an INFJ
I am Angela. When I am not helping animals I am listening to music, reading, or playing video games. My spirit animal is a fox and I love nature. What else is there to know? Want to know anything about me, need advice or anything message me :)
