Thanks for the tip! Just ordered those Belt Wrapped Grunge Boots, as well as vegan flats and hat, under $70 for the lot.

Guys, be sure to check retailmenot for coupons when you buy awesome vegan stuff online. 😀 I got free shipping and on Monday there’ll be 30% off everything on the site.

I LOVE the OTKs too, but I don’t think I would wear them often enough.

Does anyone know the country of manufacture. I don’t buy anything made in China (and haven’t for 7 years) because they are the only country in the world with no animal protection laws. I also wouldn’t trust that they would label something as non leather and then use leather. They already label cat and dog fur used as trim as faux. Vegans should check this out.

So true Susan. I try to make people aware of this ever since I saw Skinned Alive. It’s like the wild west out there. Laws have no real place.

Vegan dudes are awesome! Alternative Outfitters has an entire section of vegan boots for men. Also if you’re looking for a quality, non-leather men’s wallet, look no further than the Big Skinny tri-fold (only $25!):

Oh my goodness so cute! ALL of these are fantastic! I really like the 2nd, 3rd, and 7th. My mom was just lamenting the “lack” of leather-less boots – so glad I can show here these now! :)

I recently applied for work at UPS and the HR lady is saying I need a black or brown, polishable shoe or boot. She recommends something light in weight due to the high level of activity required by the job.

How about some shoes that don’t destroy people’s feet and don’t use extra materials just for the sake of appearance?

My tip! Buy boots and closed-type shoes in one whole size bigger than you normally wear. Then put in one of those super squooshy and comfy Dr. Scholls gel insoles that are meant for work boots or running shoes. They are super thick….like 1/2″ and will make your boots and shoes feel like a dream!

Wearing high heels can be killer, but with a heavy insole, it feels wonderful!

Doesn’t work for open summer shoes as you could see the insoles, of course, but for the winter it’s wonderful. I bought some vegan boots with a 4 inch heel that normally would be impossible to wear all day at work, but with a super thick insole in the toe box, they are a breeze to wear. Try it!

Way more attention needs to be paid to http://www.GoJane.com on here. Every single shoe/boot/wedge/heel is vegan friendly, and 99% are under $30, let alone $50 bucks.

I am 13 years old and joined the street team June 2015. I am a vegetarian. I have a passion for working to help save animals. I love my family and my 2 pugs, Daisy and Diesel. I plan to work for Peta or Mercy For Animals someday because they helped me become a vegetarian and begin a whole new life of having common sense towards all animals.
