WARNING! Awesome activist and cute clothing alert!

animal testing protest Star Street Teamer Phoebe is known for going above and beyond for animals in her town. This girl attends protests regularly, carries her DIY animal rights poster when she rides the subway to spread the word about animal testing, and even makes her own animal rights clothing! :)

Check out how she does it:

  1. First, I lightly draw a rough sketch onto the fabric with an ordinary pencil. I use this as an outline.
  2. Then, using fabric paints, I paint my design directly onto the fabric with a very fine paintbrush.
  3. I leave it to dry overnight, and then I iron over the fabric in the morning for about 10 minutes.
  4. That’s it! There are other methods using transfer paper, which is less time-consuming, but I enjoy painting by hand.

Take a look at some of her gorgeous designs:

So awesome, right? I’ll take one in every color, please!

Do YOU have any cute designs that you’ve made into clothing? If so, be sure to send them to peta2—we might even feature them in a future blog post!

Don’t forget that you can find even more ways to help animals by signing up for our Street Team. It’s totally free to join, and it’s a great way to speak up for animals and get FREE stuff by doing creative things like this. It’s pretty awesome! :)

Is it possible that we convince Mcdonald’s to add more healthy and less processed meat options?
