Have you heard about New York’s new updated dissection policy?

By law, all students in New York must now be notified of their right to use a humane alternative to animal dissections and cannot be penalized for choosing the alternative.

What does this mean? It’s easier than ever for students in New York to take a stand against killing animals for classroom dissection. Every year, more that 10 million pigs, cats, frogs, and other animals are killed only to end up in a classroom dissection lab—even though humane alternatives exist. This year, just say “No!” and ask for an alternative.
