Bored No More won the Silver Anvil Award for Community Relations in the Associations/Nonprofit Organizations category from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)—so yeah, it’s a big deal. 🤯 Since they started the charity in 2023, Alexis and Taylor have helped deliver health and wellness activity packages to thousands of hospitalized kids and their families. To make this top-tier idea even more tippity top-tier, the sisters decided to blend their love of animals—like their rescue dogs Bear and Toby—into their nonprofit with the launch of Bored No More Pet Packs.

These packs include toys, food, and supplies that dogs and cats in animal shelters need to thrive. 🐾 Every year, U.S. shelters take in millions of animals who might have been homeless, lost, stray, or abandoned. They give them safety and care while helping them find new homes. Donations like these packs help keep shelters running, and Bored No More doesn’t just donate supplies and dip—it makes each community part of the solution to end animal homelessness.

At Bored No More, we believe the most powerful solutions come from the community itself. — Taylor

Alexis and Taylor want you to know that you can always improve animals’ lives, even if you don’t co‑found a nonprofit with your sibling (go off if you want, tho 💁). You can hype your local open‑admission shelter on social media. You can host a shelter drive at your school. You can let everyone know the importance of spaying, neutering, and adopting animals rather than buying them. When you keep animals in mind, you’ll always have the motivation to make a difference.
