Massachusetts’ Minor League baseball team, the Lowell Spinners, will be holding capuchin monkey “acts” as team promotions. In one act, capuchin monkeys are forced into costumes, strapped to dogs, and forced to race around a track (um … what?!).

These animals endure a miserable, bizarre, and stressful ordeal that can result in injury. PETA has asked the team owner to replace these acts with any of the countless humane alternatives, but our request has been dismissed.

Animals used for entertainment are deprived of everything that is natural and important to them. They live in constant anxiety, physical discomfort, and frustration, and they need your help!

Please urge team officials to cancel these cruel promotions.
