Earlier this week, I got to give a presentation to my brother’s high school health class on why students should go vegan—talking about how it’s the best choice for their bodies, the environment, and, of course, for animals! 🙂

Unfortunately, most schools don’t teach about the awesomeness of going vegan on a regular basis, which is why it’s super important to take charge and get the word out about it yourself!

Check out all the cool ways to spread the word about animals at your school (in between all that learning and crushing on the cutie in class, of course).

street team passing notesNodding off during world history? Liven things up a little by passing your friend a note with one of our gross facts on it!

street team animal rights lockerShow your veggie pride by decorating your locker peta2 style! We can send you all the free materials you’ll need if you e-mail us, or you can print them out for free. 🙂

honor their memory ear tagMake your backpack a walking billboard for animal rights with one of our cute “Honor Their Memory” tags. You can speak out against leather by wearing these on your ear, sweatshirt, or shoes, too!

go vegan toilet paper Luckily, every school has a crapper, so what better place to let other kids know how they can cut the crap?! (Just be sure to write your message only on the toilet paper itself.)

Still looking for more ways to help animals at your school? You should totally start your own animal rights group!

All you have to do is get a few friends together who love animals and find a teacher or counselor who wouldn’t mind letting you use his or her room for meetings and stuff. E-mail us at [email protected], and we’ll send you all the free stuff you’ll need to get started. It’ll make it that much easier to get a veggie burger in your cafeteria or cut out dissection in your classroom! 🙂

And if you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for peta2 to get free stuff for all this activism! Each random act that you do for animals gets you points to order FREE T-shirts, buttons, books, and more. It’s pretty sweet!
