Last week we learned a whole bunch of interesting facts about frogs (like they shed their skin and eat it—zoiks!). Aside from them being unusually quirky and cute, they are sentient beings just like the rest of us and deserve to live out their lives as they please.

Every year, millions of frogs, rats, cats, mice, and other animals suffer and are killed for dissection even though there are plenty of cruelty-free alternatives. It’s not only cruel, but it’s bad for the environment, and it wrongly sends students the message that these animals are simply classroom tools.

Flaunt your froggie pride, and let the world know that you are not down with dissection, by sporting our popular “Cut Class, Not Frogs” tee:

For your chance to win this “Cut Class, Not Frogs” tee, comment below and tell us about some of the ways you’re going to speak up for animals used in classrooms this school year. Entries must be received by August 9, 2011. A winner will be chosen at random and notified on August 11, 2011.
