Vegan Chicken Sandwich
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- 4 Gardein Scallopini
- 1 box of Shake 'N Bake Extra Crispy seasoning
- Tomato, lettuce, vegan mayo, mustard, pickles, onion, ketchup—any fixin's you like!
• In a wide, shallow bowl, mix the flour, water, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. The consistency should be like pancake batter.
• Fill another wide shallow bowl with the Shake ‘N Bake.
• Dip the Gardein “chicken” in the batter and then coat with the Shake ‘N Bake.
• Line a baking sheet or pan with aluminum foil, place the “chicken” on it, and bake according to instructions on the packaging, or until crispy and hot.
• Serve with all the fixin’s.
